    An amazing experience in Dining

Ignore the person that complained about the wait time and service and yada yada. This type of person gets their panties in a ruffle because they had to wait, and then attempts to falsely degrade the rest of the experience. It's one of the best restaurants in the city. OF COURSE you're going to wait. The service is exceptional and the food is not only amazing, but the many flavors create pleasing taste memories. The Oyster selection is like no other as well. 5 Stars to AquaGrill for the best food, and very fair prices for what you get and the atmosphere in which you get it!

    Love this place

This is my favorite seafood place in NYC. We've never had a bad meal here. The food is always fresh and very creatively prepared. ..even the desserts are delicious (and they make great drinks too). The service is fantastic...they really take care of you. It puts places like Blue Water Grill to shame (and I happen to like Blue Water Grill). My only complaints are: it gets a little crowded (the tables are a bit close together) and the French waitress can be obnoxious (and I don't have anything against French people). But those are trifles. Aquagrill still rocks and is my number one choice for seafood in New York.

    Simply the Best!

I have never had more creative seafood than what I have enjoyed here. It is always the freshest with enticing preparations that are not over done. I also love the warm romantic room and friendly professional service. A great place to eat, but I especially loe the outdoor seating, nothing beats a bowl of amazing bouillaibaise with a delcious bottle of rose on a beautiful evening. Trust me, you can not go wrong here!

Still my #1 seafood in nyc

Have been to most seafood places, but have to say this is still my #1 so far.. Awesome oysters, great light atmosphere, not a romantic place, but that is ok.

    If you want good seafood

This is the place to go. Take it from someone who grew up eating fresh seafood - this is some of the best in the city. And the service matches. Wonderful dining experience!

    Disappointed

I was so looking forward to going to this restaurant but was sorely disappointed! When we arrived it was chaos with so many people waiting for tables and nowhere to stand. The service was worse than in London restaurants and that's saying something. We waited ages for our drinks to arrive and then about 20 minutes for our starters. The people at the table next (on top of us, practically) to us sat down after us, but got their drinks before us and again their meals were served even though we had already ordered. Food was okay but not worth the money. Had a much better meal the night before on Grand Street.

    We loved Aquagrill!

My wife and I loved the Sunday brunch. She enjoyed the peppered tuna carpaccio appetizer (with grilled onions and avocado) and the roasted cod entree (with wilted spinach and artichokes). I began with an assortment of oysters, followed by a fantastic grilled pampano (with terrific truffle mashed potatoes). A mango tart and carmelized grapefruit with grapefruit sorbet were 2 wonderful ways to finish a great meal. Service was friendly, prompt, and efficient. Timing between courses was perfect. We'll be returning soon!
