Would definitely go again
Spent 4 days in NYC, found this on the 2nd day and returned every day, sometimes twice. The food was excellent as was the service. The waiting staff were very attentive. Cant wait to return to NYC and go back. Would definitely recommend.

Loved It
My second time in New York and I have to say was awesome again. Loved the outside seating and the owner not only made it possible for ALL of us to sit together, but then was hustling to get us fed. The coffee was hot, good and plentiful and the food delicious and on time. Would definately go back - Thanks for taking great care of us!!

don't bother
This place is seriously not worth going to. The service was pushy. The man who stood outside seating us was beyond rude and disrespectful. The food is overpriced. Any other diner in midtown is so much better. Don't waste your money or time at this place.

A Great little cozy place
I am a pretty frequent visitor- it is a great place in the heart of midtown just to get good food and have it served by a great staff, particularly by a waiter who is very attentive and sweet- makes you feel right at home. Terrific turkey soup and grilled cheese sandwiches!

A real find
Arrive in NY straight off Queen Victoria early on Jan 13 2011. Feeling hungry and cold we stumbled across this wonderful place! Warm and inviting with great tasty food. The staff were very friendly and, yes - we did get offered top ups for our beverages!!! For us a real American diner experience.

A wonderful port in the storm
We arrived in NYC just in time for the blizzard. After checking into our hotel, we braved the elements and headed out in search of much needed food. We stumbled across Applejacks and couldn't have been more thankful to have found it. The menu had a wide variety of food (great for kids) and our waitress was a delight. She even made our younger son mac & cheese that wasn't on the menu. The food was tasty and warm and just what we needed. The price was great for NY and our older son said the chocolate cake was awesome! He wanted to go back there to eat the next day.

Avoid Apple Jacks
We were in town for our 10 yr anniversary and the concierge from out hotel recommended this place to us. First of all, the menu is huge. We finally decided on steak and chicken fingers. Overpriced and tasteless is what we ended up getting. Oh yeah, no refills on drinks...what a joke. The waitress was less than attentive. Will never go back or recommend this place.
