Come here for the eclectic ambience, but don't expect to get great food or service. They barely give you enough to eat! What they do give you, however, is nicely presented, although sometimes a little tasteless--not enough sauce. The servers are polite, but need a lot of motivation from you.

I went here for an early lunch on a Monday in late January 2005. Nothing was great, most was outright bad. Waiting: There were not many guests, and still it took over 30 minutes to get the food. This is OK in a very good dinner restaurant, but not for lunch in a neighborhood Thai place. Imagine the waiting time when this (huge) place is full! A very annoying thing was that the waiter kept telling us that the food would be there right away without even checking with the kitchen. The food: The "spicy beef salad" didn't taste fresh. It was not good at all - and not spicy either. The meat was overcooked and bad quality. All that came with it was some bad cold deep fried rice chips with no taste at all. My guest had the "spicy pad thai", which was okay, but not spicy. But the worst was the waiting. I went here a year ago and liked the food better then. Wonder what happened. The place: One huge open room, very dark, has an uncool decadent worn out night club/strip bar feel to it with dark red velvet curtains and black ceiling and furniture. Not a pretty sight in daylight.

The service was awful, no one seemed to be paying attention to the customers including the busboys (my water glass was never refilled until requested after waitng for about a half hour). Atmosphere was cheesy and has room for improvement. Food was uneven, not awful but not great. Spicy Tuna Sashimi was the best (if not only) reason to eat here, menu is very limited. Not good for a date, or dinner, don't waste your time.

Apple is always a great place to go, whether you want to just hang out in the lounge and have some drinks with friends or have an actual meal. Their food and drinks are great, the service is wonderful, and the prices are decent. They also have a great selection of vegetarian dishes.

I went here for my birthday with a bunch of friends and the food was amazing. The value is unbelieveable. The calamari was great, so was the tuna sashimi. Overall food and value were excellent and I can't wait to go back!
