Wonderful Service
I often go to the diner for breakfast and lunch, and I have to say that the waiter is always very kind and helpful. Also, the men that work behind the counter (if I'm in a rush) are so nice and attentive. I always get exactly what I order, and it turns out fabulous. The last time I went (Tuesday) I had an amazing grilled chicken sandwich with avocado...yum!

Disappointed
The last three times I have gone to the Apollo have been very disappointing. Two of the last times, I ordered a burger, while my husband ordered a full dinner. The french fries and the onion rings were reheats both times. When I am paying for a meal, I expect fresh food not reheated. Last night, December 13, is the last time I will ever go back not only was the food reheated but our waiter acted as if he was annoyed that we were there. The bus boy was more attentive to our needs. Our waiter, the older, unkempt, stained, overweight man sat on a stool and only came over to take our order and to usher us out. My husband had to remind him that his full dinner came with dessert which he reluctantly got.

A Good Place to eat
The Apollo Dinner is good value for the money food is well prepared and the service is excellent.

My local diner of choice
The Apollo Diner is my local diner of choice. I just wish they were open on Sundays. Most of the time I get breakfast delivered from them, but if I'm at home in the afternoon, I always get one of their triple decker sandwiches. The food is always warm and tasty. The people are sweet. Definitely try it out.
