This is one of my fave restaurants in the city! The food is spectacular and absolutely delish!! Amazing bread with ricotta and warm tomato sauce, insane meatballs, shrimp, gnocchi...could go on and on!! The service is attentive and friendly but not annoying. Great date spot or for a quiet, cozy dinner with friends.

Could not believe this place was on the lower east side. The decor had a wonderful trendy atmosphere. The three sat in the wine bar which was cosy. The waiter was very attentive. I had the skate which was cooked to perfection with a lemon caper wine sauce. My friend had the gnocci which were light and fresh. The octopus salad was heaven as was the mushrooms with polenta. Very satisfied with the meal and the wine.

I went to Apizz this weekend thought it was truly great. We were a table of four, the restaurant was packed but the service was very attentive and our waitress gave us helpful suggestions on the menu. The food was creative, fresh & delicious. All in all, a perfect dinner. We will definitely go back.

Loved the food and atmosphere. I highly recommend the polenta. The wine list was resonable. Service was polite and helpful, but somewhat lacking for this price range. Courses were well spaced out. Overall a very nice dinner. Will definitely return.

Its a cute space. A little more sophisticated for the LES and nice atmosphere. I was disappointed because I heard it was sooo good.... and it wasnt. The food was nice predictable but definately not special and in my opionion far too oily. BUT the real issure was the service. So slow it was ridiculous. Forgetful waiters who seems half asleep. Took ages to be seated. Ages to get water, ages to get bread, ages for the mains to come... and had to ask 3 times for the check... I came, saw, but i wouldnt go back. so many better places in NYC. sorry guys

Don't mess around...get the meatballs. They are fantastic. Waitstaff was great and accomodating as we showed without a reservation. $100 dinner without tip, included a bottle of wine, 2 entrees, starter and 2 capucinos. A new favorite.
