Apartment 138

Mac and cheese, not bad but compared to some other more well known can not compare. Sliders tasted frozen. Steak skewers were ok, small step from street meat. The outside garden is beautiful, great atmosphere. Based on price and garden atmosphere maybe was expecting more. Not a terrible experience, but a bit disappointing.

We went here to have a relatively quick brunch one saturday afternoon and got anything but. After waiting for 15 minutes to have someone take our order, we waited another 15 to get our coffee (they ran out of cups) and then after waiting and waitng for our order of eggs we finally had to just get the bill and leave as we had waited enough. We did not get our food but we paid the bill regardless and not once did the waitress come up to us and apologize for the long waits - all it would have taken was some sort of recognition but instead we were just treated as if waiting one hour for food wasn't a big deal. I will never go back here again!

We ordered delivery food tonight. It was delivered promptly by a courteous man. But the ribs were terrible with a not very tasty sauce. The lobster ravioli came with 5 ravioli and nothing else for $14. We won't be ordering from Apartment 138 again.

we stumbled on "apartment 138." doesnt look like much from the outside but the garden is . . . OMG! i had the steak salad and my old man had the fish and chips. we were very happy. the sangria, eh - it was ok. the bailey and cookies mousse was a tad separated. the bread: divine! the atmosphere: perfect! will go back. an extensive, no nonsense menu is appealing and pocket book friendly. the garden has awnings that can be retracted and heaters. love this place!

Apt. 138 is a great restaurant. I have been there several times and always enjoy it. The food is always fantastic - I especially enjoyed the tilapia. A dessert must have is the ice cream sandwich made with pound cake - yum! Aside from the food, the service is average. While the staff is very nice, the service is quite slow. You can also end up waiting a long time for a table on any given night but especially on friday / saturday. Apt. 138 is a lot of fun - a trendy, hip spot!

Apartment 138 has a great, lengthy menu. The ribs are the best I've ever had - much better than the Brooklyn Dallas BBQ. The service is swift and the staff amenable. Be sure to check out the game room in the basement. It also has a very clean restroom - which says a lot about a restaurant!

Good atmosphere and a unique menu of classic American comfort food served with a little gourmet flair. Service can be spotty, but the crowd of locals and good atmosphere make it worthwhile. Not crazy about the seafood or desserts, but steaks, chicken, appetizers and sides are great.
