Fresh Sushi!
After my dining experience at A0ki, I think anybody who complained about the food and service might have done so because their delivery order wasn't satisfactory. I had a great dining experience in the restaurant. The sashimi salad and rolls that I ordered were so fresh. Our server was attentive enough and the ambiance was fine. They even have a nice variety of wines and cocktails. I think Aoki is a great restaurant to dine at before a show or even just for fresh and excellent sushi. I'm sure I'll be back.

Mediocre food, service nonexistent
Ordered rolls for delivery as this place is close to my office. As I had made my way back up to my floor I noticed they had forgotten several items. Called the restaurant back and they did not apologize for their mistake (or offer any compensation as is customary for such blunders), but rather just sent a new delivery with the missing items 30 minutes later, again without any apology. Food is mediocre, certainly not worth the near-premium prices. Would not recommend

Always look forward to lunch here!
I attend seminars on a yearly basis at the AMA building across the street from Aoki and I have to say, they are quick, and polite, and the food is very good. Tomorrow I am attending a seminar and can not wait to go back to Aoki!

great service and value (lunch, delivery only)
I order from here for lunch a few times a week, and there are two things about Aoki that separate them from the pack: 1) I have yet to find a lunch place that delivers to my office with such fairly-priced sushi lunch options. 2) I once had an issue with my order (they provided me with a stock lunch roll that contained ingredients I was allergic to) so I called them up. Right off the bat, they apologized and offered to replace it with something else and deliver it free of charge. Delivery guys were great, and also apologetic. Can't say you see that all too often around NYC. Can't say anything about atmosphere as I've never been in the restaurant, but frankly I wouldn't care too much, given how nicely I know I'd be treated.

Great ambience
The place is really great lookig and has a nice ambience. I was greeted oh so nicely right away and we were able to take or time while ordering ( chatting w friends I hadn't seen in a while). While I don't eat fish, there are great chicken and veggie options. My friends really enjoye their spicy salmon and shrimp tempura rolls. I would definitely go back when I'm in the area.

Disappointing sushi - twice
This place has slipped into the gutter. Once it was my go to sushi for midtown delivery, now it's just plain disappointing. The tuna was dark red to black and smelled and tasted "fishy". My colleague felt the same way about her food. This happened a few months ago, but I gave them a second chance only to have this time around even more disappointing

The best
Absolute best place to get sushi in Times Square. Seriously. Go here. I was greeted on my way in and out. Service was quick and always with a smile. The food was wonderfully prepared and worth every single cent. If anything get the sushi and sashimi platter for 2. It may seem like a lot of food but I can finish this on my own. Highly recommended.
