    A great find

My friend and I stumbled across AOC last night after nearby theatre. What a wonderful surprise. The friendly staff notified us that the back room was full but we were welcome to a table in the front bar area. Actually, it was much quieter there so it was fine. The drinks were large and the food was amazingly good. Everything was fresh and delicious. Now that I know, I will definetely return to AOC for hopefully another enjoyable meal.

    Great Value for Money

Great food and for the price I would definitely come back. Service staff was attentive without being annoying. I enjoyed the escargot, foie gras and the duck confit. I just wish they would offer Riesling by the glass.

French know how to do it

We eat here every time we come to city, and breakfast, lunch and dinner are consistently great. Eveyrthing we have had has been consistently outstanding (though I find a dash of the salt shaker brings out more in many of their dishes). Very French in approach, with escargots, cassoulet, confit of duck, etc., and reasonably priced French wine list. For what you get, prices are great. Only drawback is the very loud music in front bar area; we try to sit on street or in back garden.

    Two with a baby...

Food was great -- especially the warm goat cheese salad. Different. To die ... We loved the back, glass enclosed room, informal but charming. But most of all we loved the staff. They were wonderful fun with out little 9 month old girl.

    Good food

My bf and I ordered the duck confit and striped bass. They were wonderful. We especially loved the duck confit dish. Service was good, but nothing that stands out. Nice atmosphere. They were playing pretty loud music, which my bf enjoys. We got a really good deal, because we used a $25 dinner certificate with no problem. We only paid $25 + $4 for certificate, total $29 for two great entree and a lemonade (which is super sour, if you're into that).

I love this place - the food is always great and the place has so much charm. I've had mixed experiences with the service but overall, I'd say the waiters are generally attentive.
