Delicious first date
Antibes Bistro is quaint and comfortable - very Provence in atmosphere. We shared the truffled asparagus to start and it was delicate and tasty, followed by the perfectly cooked tuna. Ended with honey/lavender and tarragon ice creams. Lovely wines and expert, friendly service. Will go back - often.

Good food, noisy place, and rude host.
I called around 11:30 am to make reservations for 8:30pm. I called the restaurant to tell them I was 10-15 mins late due to traffic and the guy hung up on me. We arrived and he said we didn't have a table... wow! The food was okay, bland, and good prices. Disappointed with the pate. Not so French after all.

A little bit of France in the LES
Went to Antibes last night with my husband and another couple. Highly recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere is very french bistro (felt like I was in Europe), relaxed and great for dates or groups. Prices were very reasonable for NYC, Service was very good and food was great. Dessert was AMAZING.

Great find!
Had a terrific dinner, from the bread down to the dessert. Everything was high quality. Also really liked the decor. I look forward to going back.

Most Disappointing Restaurant Experience
This was by far the most disappointing experience I have ever had at a restaurant. While the decor and food were actually good, the service was horrible. I have never been treated so terribly in my life by a host of a restaurant. Our reservation was for 9:30pm and we were not seated until 10:45pm. Despite this issue, the host treated us awfully. Although he gave us a glass of sparkling wine initially to apologize for what he said would be a 15 - minute wait, he never once checked on us, apologized or asked to compensate us for the wait. And when we would ask him when we might expect to be seated he treated us with disdain as if we were a bother. If the owner was around I would have recommended firing this host because he was awful.

Lovely Place, Decent Food
Antibes has got an interesting menu and the food quality is decent. We liked their guiness ribs but did not enjoy the steaks (it was too well done). Between the 6 of us, we shared appetizers... they're ok, but nothing too impressive, really. The value and service are very good :)

Serendipitous find
After watching a play across the street in a converted school, 12 of us crossed the street and entered Antibes bistro. It was just a matter of convenience. Wow, what a find. It's not big, but the tables are not squished together as in many restaurants this size. The waitress was very attentive and had a great personality. A few people just ordered drinks, but about half of us ordered food. Every last one of us who ordered food (no 2 people ordered the same thing) raved about it. The prices are very reasonable to boot. So let's review.... great service, great food, and reasonable prices. I might also add that the place was packed even at 10:00 when we were there. Parking is not too difficult as well, after 7:00.
