Like an Italian 'Cheers'
Ok everyone doesnt know your name but its a very nice friendly spot with very good food and good value. I took my wife for a bday dinner recenty. I made an RSVP for 530pm as I worried about it being packet. Must have picked a good time before rush b/c we were the first ones in but was neat seeing the little RSVP on the table Very friendly staff and seeing the owner/chef anthony sticking his head out to chat with some guests gave it the feeling of a hometown spot. Not fancy, very small (about 10 tables total) but the food is awesome! I live like 2 blocks away (just moved in) and knew of this place as the 'pizza bowl', when my grandfather was alive he loved it! Nice For sheepshead bay compared with famous place called michaels that charged fortune for their food. Food was very good, had the veal parm and my wife had the veal parm special (added eggplant etc to the usual parm plate. My wife had the 'homemade' wine with it. Very original! We didnt have time for dessert as had to get back home to relief our babysitter of our 2 'angels' at home but we will be back again! Good for takeout or eat in!

Excellent neighborhood restaurant
Visited family in Brooklyn and found Anthony's on MenuPages. What a pleasant surprise. Delicious, well prepared, old world Italian food. Too bad deco match quality of food. Definitely will go back.

Greatest neighborhood place
The food is consistently delicious and the servers are terrific. The atmosphere is very friendly. They serve the best and most tender veal francese anywhere. The restaurant is small, and you need a reservation on the weekend.

The Best in Brooklyn
Have been dining at Anthony's Place forever, also have the pleasure of being friends with Anthony for almost 40 years. Top quality food, friendly family type atmosphere. Before my dad passed away it was his favorite place to dine and Anthont always made him a special plate. The service is impecable and his lovely wife who I also know forever is warm and friendly. I higly recommend anyone who loves to eat not to miis out on an opportunity to dine at Anthonys.

A nice surprise close to home
My husband and I live in Manhattan Beach close to Anthony's Place. We would pass it on our way to the dry cleaner and I always wanted to check it out. We finally did and we were very happy across the board. Great service, tasty and reasonably priced food. My husband loved the homemade wine and the meatballs. It is a very homey, comfortable place and we will make sure to go back very soon. I highly recommend this nice little gem of a restaurant.

Best Italian food around
We have been going to Anthony's Place for about 8 years and have never been disappointed in the food. Wonderful baked clams, fried calamari and mussels. Their Bob salad is delicious. Delivery is also a very good option because portions are good at a good price. Enjoy!

Absolutely Delicious every time
My family has been enjoying this restaurant since it was Pizza Bowl. And as good as it was then, Anthony has ramped it up and really put this great spot on the map. Put it this way. we live in Jersey (and some of us live in Texas now). we drive across MANHATTAN to get to Anthonys place for dinner. Nuff said.
