Yes, the pizza is delicious, yes, the specials are great, and yes, the service is warm and friendly, but for me Anthony's really stands out for its desserts, particularly the cannolis, the likes of which I haven't tried anywhere before. The shell breaks under the slightest pressure from the fork, and the ricotta-pistachio filling is... well, adjectives fail me here. You simply have to try these for yourself.

My hubby and I were expecting great Italian food and great pizza based on the reviews we read. What a disappointment on the pasta which was wet and overcooked with no flavor and same with the pizza that was quite charred on the bottom. The only good thing we had was the stuffed mushroom for appetizer and the dessert.

I always get delivery, so I'm not sure about the dine in service. But the food is excellent. The new bread is great. Good apps, pasta,& specials. Quick delivery.

when i want to treat myself, i ALWAYS order delivery from Anthony's. the absolute BEST gnocchi i have ever had in my life. their caesar salad is so perfectly made with a hint of anchovy. the pizza... best ever pizza! brick oven deliciousness i have yet to discover anywhere in the slope. BEYOND AMAZING! hands down!

Get "Anthony's Special Pie" 3 kinds of cheese (fresh mozz, regular mozz, parmagiano reggiano), delicious tomatoes, and a wood-fired crust. You will NOT regret it. My Italian family from out of town dubbed this pizza "the best pizza I've had in years." You've been warned.

I had a bad experience once. My girlfriend and I went several times the food was good but not great. I really liked the house pie and she was a big fan of the manicotti. I found the sauce a bit bland, but that's me. I'd heartily recommend Peppe's for your Italian fix. But more on that bad experience. I went with my girlfriend and her mother one night. Mom orders the veal marsala. When it comes, she suspects that it might actually be chicken. (not out of the realm of possibility, as chicken marsala is also a menu item) We alert our waiter, who swears it's veal. As I start to try it, another guy (Waiter? Manager? Who knows!) comes out berating me for thinking it could be anything other than veal. I'm tasting it, and he's insinuating that I'm confused because it's so "soft." I'm too much of a nice guy, so I let it go. He begrudgingly brings out "another" veal marsala, but the meal had kinda been ruined at that point by his abuse. As an afternote, I did get both unfinished marsalas to go, so I could check them out at home. Lo and behold, one chicken and one veal! Nice place. Nice prices. Alright food. USUALLY, adequate service. But I only need to be insulted once. I won't be back again.

This is one of my favorite restaurants around! We always come here for a nice dinner. I have been there several times and have enjoyed everything Ive tried.....especially the grilled shrimp over pasta. The shrimp was amazing!
