Way too expensive
You can get excellent Greek food at Telio's on Broadway. For a lot less and sit down as well. Don't bother.

Nothing to write home about
The establishment and atmosphere is cute and the servers couldn't have been nicer. The food... eh.... nothing to write home about. I don't have to ever go back and i wont miss it. I could've gotten the same Food at a diner.

Try This Place!
Is Anthi's the best food in town? No. But I'm writing and giving it an incredibly positive review because it's a great place and really worth checking out. If you are in the Upper West Side and want something quick to take out, Anthi's is definitely worth it for its value, friendly staff, and fresh food. It's typical, good Greek food. The moussaka is especially recommended-- delicious. Please give this place a try-- it deserves lots of business!

Love it -- can't believe I waited so long to try it.
I've been going there at least twice a week for the past month --- today I bought the artichoke salad and two new dishes -- the skordalia and beet greens with garlic......After we lost Bennie's in the West 70s I was looking for a place like this -- terrific.

Ever changing menu
I love the stuff peppers. However, the food is inconsistent. Hummus sometimes right on others watery and inedible. The Greek country salad, never the same. When I asked why the dish itself was never the same I was told the owner likes to change things up, well my opinion is people want consistency and an easy order. Having to specify how the dish was that one time you liked it is frustrating. Also nearly zero drink options, water or GUS. I really really love the peppers just all the issues make me honestly ready to give up.

Cold underseasoned food
I have gone to Anthri's twice in the past months because it's near my apartment and I wanted to support a new local business. Both times I was extremely disappointed in the food. Takeout is served cold, almost frozen, which is maybe okay for dips but not acceptable for entrees and sides if the place wants to have a takeout or delivery business. Out of the five things I've tried, only the tzatziki had any flavor. Everything else needed salt in order to be palatable (I think it's the only takeout I've ever salted in my life.) Even after the salt, the meal tasted bland. So with regret, I have to give this place a poor review, even though I think the restaurant is a great concept and would have been a good addition to the neighborhood.

Best Greek
I ordered greek form here about a month ago. Unfortunately when I did there was a problem with eggplant so I didn't get to try everything I wanted but got a very sincere apology. The food was amazing and beyond affordable, my delivery was a little slow but I was 11 blocks away and the weather was horrible. I totally recommend Anthi's to anyone and everyone. I'll be ordering this week again if not today! It's a must. Oh and this is the first review I've written for menupages but had to give props to this little UWS establishment.
