Everyone at this restaurant was so nice! Food was delicious. We had a great night! So refreshing because there are so many NYC restaurants with attitude. If only more of them were as nice as Annisa

What a relaxing and joyful meal from the minute you enter it is calming and you are welcomed by the geniune graciousness of the staff. The choice of foods, stimulating, met every expectation, dumplings, shrimp laksa sauce, waygu beef, so many layers of flavors we were awed at every bite, true culinary magic! just looking around you could feel the comfort of every table I hope you get to experience this wonderful restaurant, its for those who love to dine

Every year I go to Annisa to celebrate something. But whatever the event, it always turns into, once again, celebrating being back at Annisa. Brilliant food. Obsessed with excellence service. Simple, serene decor. Quiet. The only two-tops in New York where you can actually hear your dinner partner. This is not a place to go if you like flashy, hot, latest greatest, look at me stuff. This is sweet, wonderful happiness. If you don't like subtle, layered, intricate refinement, also don't go. If you do, welcome to the "I Love Anita Lo, I Love Annisa" Club.

What a lovely place. So great sitting at the bar waiting for all of our party to arrive. You are transported to someplace like the Himalayas with the soft music and gentle ambiance. The service is remarkable and so friendly and sincere. The food is just so tasty and beautiful. They have created an atmosphere that just makes you want to realax and enjoy. It's a bit pricey, but well worth it for a fabulous, relaxing night with good friends accompanied by an excellent meal.

Lovely space and friendly server but they need a new chef. Organic ingredients doesn't always mean great flavors - you need good preparation.

We were expecting a restaurant with a Zagat's rating of 27 as listed. We found the service rating to be accurate, but the food was not an impressive 27. The lettuce greens were as fresh and crisp as you will find anywhere, but greens were topped with an acceptable, but unremarkable dressing. Scallops were edible, but not better than one can do quickly at home. Best part of the meal was a very unusual, tasty grapefruit dessert soup. Nice people, sadly over rated food.

I found Annisa to be classy all the way, from the decor through the presentation. The food was fantastic, especially the foie gras dumplings. They were very accommodating as well, and the atmosphere was intimate and quiet- a great date place!
