Best Pizza I've Ever Eaten
I am a pizza junkie. When it's time to decide what to eat, a little voice in my head says, "Have some Pizza!" WAY more often than is normal. Because of my addiction, and because my job takes me all around the City (all 5 Boroughs, LI, NJ, Upstate, etc.), I have eaten at dozens of pizzerias around the area, all the local chains, all the places listed in tourist books, all the places that have been featured on Food Network, even the "secret" places in Bensonhurst and Yonkers and Arthur Avenue and elsewhere. Some of those places are pretty damn good, but Anna Maria is by far the best that I have ever eaten. The lasagna slice, the chicken parm slice, the meat lover's slice, the pesto and garlic-heavenly, every last one. Their slices are like entrees on a slice of dough-you need a knife and fork to eat them. Best sauces and toppings around. The place is a hole-in-the-wall and kind of dingy, so if you're a priss you might be a little put off. Trust me, just get over yourself, take your slices to go, and then plan your second visit.

Undercooked!
The last time I went to Anna Maria's I ordered a chiken roll, and my boyfriend ordered a chicken slice of pizza. My chicken roll was so cold on the inside and the chicken was still frozen. My boyfriends slice was overly greasy, and the dough was so stale. I would not reccomend this place to any one.

This is a GREAT value
This slice costs the same as every slice in the city, but its huge, consistently very good, and there are usually enough people working there so even when crowded, its usually not a long wait. Generally speaking there is enough seating (Not always) and to boot, they always have something to READ. Its usually a local Brooklyn paper, which means I haven't already read it a thousand times already that week

Freakin Delicious
I don't care what anyone says, I eat this pizza drunk, I eat it sober. Either way it is without a doubt the best pizza in Brooklyn. If you doubt me, try the pesto slice. Delicious!

No complaints
Like everyone else who has commented here, yes I have in fact had several drunken slices here. They were always massive and did exactly what I wanted them to. However, I have also dined here sober on a number of occasions and I have always been happy with those decisions as well. Their slices are incredibly large, loaded with tastey ingredients and fresh. Great consistent pizza. Atmosphere is non existent, but the people are friendly, the slices come out quick and you leave full and satisfied. And if they have it, the spicey buffalo chicken is a phenominal way to go!
