    The cannolis!

This is the second time I ordered a white pizza with broccoli and ricotta - and again, it came with tomato sauce! Granted, the sauce is decent but it's not what I wanted. And the $7 cannoli was quite poor! Not even a real cannoli shell, some waffle thing rolled up with something pasty inside.

Great pizza but service is spotty

Yes comparisons can be made to Patsy's et al, but at the end of the day, Angelo's is the best pizza in the East 50s. We love their pizza. Their pasta is pretty good as well. However, if you're expecting world class service with your world class pizza, think again. Service can be slow and many times our drink orders were forgotten. All is forgiven after taking the first bite.

    Good NYC Pizza

For the best pizza you have to go to coney island... though, this place does offer a great tasting pizza. in a neiborhood with little options when it come to pizza this place is by far the best in the area.

    Best Pizza Ever!

Angelo's has some of the best pizza I have had while living in the city. The fresh mozarella, and the, cripsy crust is soo good. Pair it with the Mista salad, and you have a great meal!

    Cheaper version of Patsy's

Good value for your money, big portions. Atmosphere is decent, but they try to hard to be like Patsy's. The prices are definitely less, but I still prefer Patsy's.

As a pizza lover, I'd been wanting to eat here for a while. I was surpised to see that this place has Patsy Pizza's exact same menu, bread, pizza, etc...The only difference is the atmosphere - Angelo's is extremely loud b/c it is one large room.

    Poor service

Overall the food is good, but the service is poor. I have been twice and both times I swear I am never going back. Both times it took our waitress at least 15 minutes to initially come over and during our first visit she refused to accomodate a simple order request and during our second visit she refused to fix an order she messed up. The staff as well as the manager can be rude and unhelpful. It is such a shame, because the food and prices are not bad.
