Good food, marginal pizza, lousy service
I really do like the food at Angelo's, which is why I continue to order from them. I'm not a fan of the pizza, but I know others who are. What kills me is the service: dealing with them on the phone for delivery is downright painful. Whenever a particular woman answers the phone, I feel as if I've done her a major disservice by troubling her, and she can't understand the easiest of orders. Regardless of who answers, they typically need to put me on hold two or three times to get answers to even simple questions (for example, "What vegetable do you have today?") Again, I like the food...so endure the two minutes of unpleasantness on the phone. But, it's a close call.

bad delivery service
I usually order from here without a problem. Tonight, they gave me the wrong order, sent the guy back to pick it up but didnt bring my order, sent another guy back with my order but no bread, and had an attitude when I called back to request bread. Mistakes happen, but this place has no clue how to treat a loyal customer when they make a mistake. Will be re-thinking ever ordering from here again.

Subpar Customer Service
This place is terrible. You'd think being one of the pizza places at a prime spot in Midtown East would make them surpass anywhere else...Not true! I called to order a pizza with meatballs and ricotta to be told they wont put meatballs on pizza. I said, "So there's meatballs in your pasta but you can't put them on the pizza?" Their answer was a firm no. I asked if they had wings. The answer was no. The total for two large pizzas was $48.something, which is sick. As in I almost fell over at the prices! I called back and canceled my order to be answered by the manager who said, "And how am I supposed to know what order this is? I take millions of orders a day." I told him he should ask for my phone number and/or name to figure that out. I will never order from here again not to mention I work somewhere where we order pizza about 10 times a night for customers.

Cannot believe...
This is a neighborhood spot and they have all of a sudden decided to turn away any customers with strollers. Ridiculous - we will never return. The food was good but the service is terrible.

unbelievable
This place is unbelievable, pizza is good but the place is the most arrogant, non customer friendly restaurant I've ever been to. This says it all, went to the yankee game with my family, take them to Angelo's after and simply ask for butter with the bread, the waiter said " we have it in the kitchen but we're not allowed to serve it with bread " just silly and stupid. These guys need a kick in the pants. what a shame

Delicious Pizza
On my visit to NYC I asked my cousin to take me to an authentic NY pizza place. I was thoroughly pleased! It was delicious and I will have to come back the next time I'm visiting. The crust was thin, the sauce was tangy, the mozzarella was fresh and we had garlic and sun dried tomatoes on our pie. MMMMMmmmm.

Very Good Pizza, forget Stroller Mom lobby below
Very Good Pizza and decent Pasta. I don't want to go in a reastaurant that's all kiddies. Worse, moms who think they own the place- and sidewalk/store aisles too. Motherhood is nice but it's not the key to the city or to block access to it. Nor the way MOST people rate restaurants.
