Good Food, Not Service
The food is good, but there is lots of good pizza in this city. It isn't worth coming to this place when there are so many other places that offer good food and actually treat their customers like they want them. They are not only rude and unattentive, there are so many little things that just grate on you -- they DON'T take credit cards, DON'T allow strollers, DON'T offer butter, DON'T take reservations for parties of six or more, DON'T have air conditioning (the temperature is almost never comfortable and the same day I walked out so did another table of four). I went there for my third and final time and it was 5 pm on a Saturday. The place was half empty and we were eight people. My 18 month old son was asleep FINALLY and even though the restaurant was relatively empty they would not let us take him in his stroller. They told us we had to wake him and put him in a high chair. The managers DON'T know how to make logical exceptions to rules and DON'T care if you walk out. So I did.

great pizza
Angelo's is a great place for pizza and salads. Not too expensive, and food is very fresh.

Best Pizza in the Area
I think this spot has absolutely delicious pizza. I have tried quite a few spots in the area, and this is by far my favorite. Very fresh. I do hate that they charge the same amount for toppings whether on half or the whole pizza - but so many places do that.

is it really worth it?
the food was good I have to admit that. BUT... the people who work there are really terrible! They were so rude! It took us ages to get our order in! Even longer to catch the waiter's attention. I say they should hire new staff!!!!!

Loved this place
We came here on our Feb trip to NYC from Colorado. The hotel where we were staying recommended this place. We ordered the green salad with beets, walnuts and goat cheese. Fabulous. The bread was served with fresh olive oil and was crusty and very fresh. I ordered the pasta with bolognese sauce and my husband ordered fettucini with chicken. Again fabulous. The wait staff were very attentive, brought water right away and my husband's wine. We'd definitely recommend this place and would go back again!

great again
We are from out of town and we came to eat at this restaurant in July. We came back now in November and had just checked in to our hotel and wanted some pizza, so we came back.. Again it was great. Love this place and we love the fact that it's not a tourist trap.

If you don't want to do your job....
If you don't want to do your job...take the day off. I had a delicious meal to celebrate the upcoming nuptials of a coworker at Angelo's. Our meal was phenomenal but the service we received was so inattentive! I can't imagine how this gentleman keeps his job during the busy rush because if you can't handle things during lunchtime, I really feel for you. He was inattentive and it seemed like if we needed a refill we were interrupting him from his daydreams. I was planning on taking my group there for the holidays but I will now find another restaurant in the area where the staff wants to do their job.
