    Best Pizza...Period

My wife and I make it a point to sample as many pizza joints as possible whenever we visit the city. We always end up back at Angelo's. Bar none, it's the best pizza that either of us have ever had anywhere, period. In my opinion, what sets their pies apart is the ingredients. They are by far the freshest I've ever had (the cheese is incredible). The pastas are consistently good (try the vodka sauce with pancello) and the salads are very fresh. The atmosphere is undeniably New York. Small, cozy, and friendly I always feel like a welcome relative at Angelo's. It's worth the trip to Angelo's and I look forward to getting back very soon!

    Great Pizza in Midtown

Great pizza, even better toppings. Similar in quality to Patsy's. Hostess and waitstaff were pretty poor, but the Manager went out of his way to make up for it. Salads and antipasti were excellent. Beer and wine are available, which is a plus! Wish they would expand their delivery area a few blocks....

    Classy Joint!

Thin crispy crust, not too saucy, they use kalamata or Italian olives & other fresh authentic ingredients. Wouldn't go back to NY without indulging in Angelo's pizza. Don't miss out -

Coal Oven Pizza at its Best

This is the best pizza in the city, and since this is new york "the home of pizza" that means that it's the pizza in the world. What separate's Angelo's from the others is the fresh ingredents and the coal oven. The ingredients include items like fresh mozarella and the coal heats up the oven to a higher tempurature than gas ovens and makes this pizza great.

    Truly authentic

This restaurant is fantastic! If you like italian food you have got to visit Angelo's whilst in NY. The menu consists of pizza, pasta (carbonara is outstanding) and salads. The food and atmosphere were so good that I felt like I was in Naples again where pizza originates from. The place is always buzzing with customers but, service is quick and the staff are very pleasent and attentive.........obviously bucked up their act in recent times!

    :-)

What a treat. The food was undeniably great, as with the service. No one rushed us and I felt like I was dining in a truly expensive restaurant. Bravo to the staff.

    Okay Pizza but Mediocre Service

The pizza is decent but it will never be in the same league as John's, Grimaldi's, Lombardi's, and Patsy's. Service is mediocre. Waiters serve the food and don't come back until the very end to ask if there's anything else you'd like. Because of this, I go there once in a blue moon.
