Sometimes I go here for dinner and I get good friendly service, and other times I get very poor service. I went here recently and the maitre'd and some of the waiters were more interested in socializing than taking care of the customers. After my food arrived, my waiter never came back to check on my group nor did the waiter come back to see if I needed anything else or was ready for the check. After my check was finally dropped off, after I waited for ten minutes, I had to actually walk up to the maitre'd to ask what happened to my waitier--then no apology from the maitre'd who proceeded to socialize with her waitstaff. Infuriating. Oh, by the way, the food is good but it does get overshadowed when the service becomes an issue.

Best pizza in nyc. I have no idea what the other reviewers are talking about. The waiters are friendly, especially ours. A young fellow named Nenad was prompt and helpful explaining the menu and checked on us to make sure we were satisfied. This place is a gem. See for yourself. Thanks guys and girls. Huntyr & Eduardo

Food is okay. Atmosphere is touristy, I suppose they pay the concierge of the nearby hotels to tell their guests to go for cheap meals. Service?? Tomorrow.

I've ordered from here plenty of times for work lunches and every time they have been here at exactly the time I requested. Amazing service and pizza is delicious!

Best to get delivery. The pizza is large, great toppings and fast home-delivery. The order/pick-up is awful, they keep you waiting at the bar for too long and the hostess and waiters are not very warm. I choose not to eat there. Oh well, service is really bad at restaurant, even the delivery people don't smile, but at least you see them for one minute. All the same, if you are a large group, its a great deal both to eat there albeit bad service, but a super deal for home delivery. A large pizza with 2 toppings delivered is $27 with tip, more than enough for two and might even feed 3!

We ate at Angelo's twice while visiting NY, both times the food was very good, had pasta the first time, the family meal was more than enough for 3, we had left overs, we had pizza the second time and it was verry good. Unfortunately the service on the other hand was bad both times, unless all NY waitors feel that taking your order, delivering your food, giving you the bill and taking your money (any fast food resturant can do that) is good service. We had to ask for water refills every time we need water, actually had the waitor bring us desert with 3 empty glasses on the table and we still had to ask for refills.
