Get the portobello sandwich..
I recently went to the tiny Angelina Cafe with a group of six and they accommodated us quickly and with fairly comfortable seating. Another party of six came in and they did the same for them, but I think 2 - 4 people is the ideal size for this cafe. After trying to figure out what to order (the menu has many tasty-sounding options), I went with the portobello sandwich on pita and it was delicious, filling (it comes with a small side salad) and inexpensive. Our server was polite and attentive and the atmosphere was cozy, but not cramped. However, two of my friends got the hummus dish and they thought the hummus was too lemony (both are used to hummus from Astoria, the Greek neighborhood in Queens, so they might be pickier than most). All in all, a pleasant experience. I'd like to go back.

My favorite place, anytime of the day
I highly recommend eating here. I've eaten at Angelina Cafe so many times. The food is excellent and very well priced. The chef/owner Rafik and his staff are friendly and welcoming. They have a good wine and beer list, and there are always great specials everyday. I highly recommend the skirt steak entree, the curry shrimp appetizer, and the Cubano sandwich. The brunch is exceptional as well. There is indoor and outdoor seating. It has everything you could ask for. Definitely check it out if you haven't been there yet. Enjoy!
