The Secret is Out.
The Best French Toast with Fresh Fruit in the city! This is one of those reviews where I am uncertain if I should write how great the food is at Angelina Café. I’ve lived in the neighborhood for over two years and have never eaten here before. During my quest for outdoor dining I decided to give Angelina a try. WOW was I impressed. No lines, easy to read menu, exciting new food combinations, excellent prices. In the last week, I have eaten there three times. Twice I had the Cinnamon Pecan Brioche French Toast with Fresh Fruit and for dinner had the Black Angus Rib Eye Steak. I would have had the French Toast for Dinner but I was several hours to late. Definitely give this place a try before it’s impossible to get a table

Yummy!
I live in the area and eat here whenever I can. The food is fresh, healthy, and consistently good. The chicken soup is my favorite, as is the burger, and all of the salads. A great find!

Good food
I've been been here a few times. The atmosphere and food is very good, as well as the service. I've tried several items off of the menu and liked them all. My most recent trip there I had a burger, and while it wasn't bad, I would recommend getting something else.

Fab!
My friends and I ate here for the first time the other day. We came for lunch and all had sandwiches. The food was incredibly fresh and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be going back.

Probably the best food in all of the EV
I have been here too many times to keep track. The food is incredibly fresh and prepared beautifully every single stinking time. I have taken many a friend and family here and everyone loves it. I always order the fruit granola and yogurt. Try it and you'll see what a masterpiece it is. The salads are huge and the sandwiches are to die for. Owner is extremely talented and nice. Service is good, but you often have to wave to get their attention after the food arrives, but the place is pretty small so it's not really a problem. I honestly think this is the best find in the EV.

Good food, nice people, great value
A well-priced, pleasant place in the E. Village that's not a trendy, Euro-trashy, or otherwise hipster go-to. This is a resto where the chef is a real chef, the food is always fine, and the service is pleasant and helpful (true, there are times when the regular servers aren't there, and then you get a college kid who couldn't care less, but those times are rare).

hello does anybody work here?
so a friend and i decided to go to angelina cafe for sunday brunch since it appeared to be a popular restaurant. what a mistake. my friend's omelette was completely overcooked and crispy and my meal was just alright. the service was poor. When we realized the waitor wasn't bringing our check, we both stared at him for 15-20 minutes hoping to get his attention to wave him over to give it to us. the chef even noticed that we were waiting and literally pointed to our table and told him that we were waiting, and yet it still took him 10 minutes to get to us. the place was not crowded at all so it did not warrant such a long wait.
