    Did not even get inside.

I planned to meet a friend for brunch at 11:30 today since Angelina opens at 10:30 on Tuesdays. Well did not happen. Doors were locked. Workers inside. They saw us trying to get in and no one came to the door. My friend called from outside and they said," We open at 1pm." No where did it say that. Not online, not outside their door. No explanation. We went elsewhere. Too bad for them!

    local lovely resto

For fresh fresh food in a pleasant, thoughtful atmosphere- now even more amazing with the new setting across the street. This place has something for everyone- i eat here twice a week and often get food to go for lunch work. Great value given the freshness and careful, healthy preparation of the food. Great wine choices and perfect deserts.

    My GO-TO secret spot!

I've been going to Angelina's Cafe regularly for the past 6 years...the food is consistently amazing - great chef - and it's a nice quiet spot to go, have a great meal, not spend a fortune, and have a normal volume conversation, even on a friday or saturday night. The service reminds me of Italy, you usually have to give a signal to let them know you're ready to order, they're not in your face asking if you need anything every 5 minutes :) and they'll let you enjoy your wine and conversation as long as you like! Love love love this spot...can't imagine what I'd be without it!

    great waitstaff, not management

The waitstaff was great. The food was good. I had a Living Social deal for 25 bucks worth of food and decided to take myself out for a nice lunch and check out a new place. After spending about an hour quietly enjoying my food (main entree and dessert) and reading my book, i was full and had leftovers which the guy at the counter refused to let me box up to-go, saying that i hadn't spent enough money to warrant him giving me a box!?........i suppose he'd rather throw the food away ? (i got all this info not directly from him but via the nice (sane) waitress who admitted that it was completely ridiculous and that she didn't understand at all.) i was completely confused and totally incensed at the utter ridiculousness of the situation and went over to the counter to ask him to explain his logic. Thenthe real kicker was when i asked him if i could speak to him for a moment (i'm a young girl, by the way), he wouldnt come up to the counter, saying he could hear me just fine from where he was! you'd think i had just shot his dog or something. so anyway, i asked him to explain and he said that i was trying to take advantage of the living social deal and that i hadnt spent enough money and that i was trying to cheat him. i told him i didnt understand why he would offer the deal at his restaurant if he didnt intend to hold to it. he said it ended up costing him more money than it was worth and that i shouldve ordered more wine......i suppose THAT would have warranted one of the to-go boxes stacked up to the ceiling behind the counter? so i just went back to my table, asked my waitress for a stack of napkins, left HER a great tip, wrapped up my own food in NAPKINS and went right next door and asked THEM for a to-go box and a plastic bag, which they gave me without question. needless to say, i wont be going back. unfortunately, he lost even more money, seeing as i would have definitely been back had he not left such a foul taste in my mouth.

    The best brunch place!

I love the food, the chef is amazing and I really feel like home when I go there. I am Parisian , so it's always nice to find a place with authentic food.
