great waitstaff, not management
The waitstaff was great. The food was good. I had a Living Social deal for 25 bucks worth of food and decided to take myself out for a nice lunch and check out a new place. After spending about an hour quietly enjoying my food (main entree and dessert) and reading my book, i was full and had leftovers which the guy at the counter refused to let me box up to-go, saying that i hadn't spent enough money to warrant him giving me a box!?........i suppose he'd rather throw the food away ? (i got all this info not directly from him but via the nice (sane) waitress who admitted that it was completely ridiculous and that she didn't understand at all.) i was completely confused and totally incensed at the utter ridiculousness of the situation and went over to the counter to ask him to explain his logic. Thenthe real kicker was when i asked him if i could speak to him for a moment (i'm a young girl, by the way), he wouldnt come up to the counter, saying he could hear me just fine from where he was! you'd think i had just shot his dog or something. so anyway, i asked him to explain and he said that i was trying to take advantage of the living social deal and that i hadnt spent enough money and that i was trying to cheat him. i told him i didnt understand why he would offer the deal at his restaurant if he didnt intend to hold to it. he said it ended up costing him more money than it was worth and that i shouldve ordered more wine......i suppose THAT would have warranted one of the to-go boxes stacked up to the ceiling behind the counter? so i just went back to my table, asked my waitress for a stack of napkins, left HER a great tip, wrapped up my own food in NAPKINS and went right next door and asked THEM for a to-go box and a plastic bag, which they gave me without question. needless to say, i wont be going back. unfortunately, he lost even more money, seeing as i would have definitely been back had he not left such a foul taste in my mouth.

The best brunch place!
I love the food, the chef is amazing and I really feel like home when I go there. I am Parisian , so it's always nice to find a place with authentic food.

Best little caf'e in the area!
I ordered from Angelina one night when I really wanted a grilled cheese.. try the cubano sandwich, its amazing. Then me and my friend went there to check out the place, and the people could not have been nicer! Great food, great people, fast delivery. Truly a fabulous place!

Bizarre Pricing but Good Food
We ordered delivery from Angelina today. The food was very good, including very fresh fruit in the dead of winter. However, we ordered the French Pancakes, which were a crepe shell with fruit. These were considerably more expensive than a filled, full crepe. We pointed this out to the restaurant, and they said that it was true that you pay more for less! This is an annoying mistake. Also, they forgot our bacon sides and we have been waiting almost 40 minutes for them to bring the bacon.

great little unknown
I moved to the neighborhood with my wife recently and walked in for a saturday brunch. The food was excellent definatley a bang for the dollor, you get so much value. I had the burger which was thick and juicy and my lady had the french toast with the fruit, which when the waiter brought it to our table after raving about it, we found ourselves in complete disbelief, like seeing a priceless piece of art. The service was great; our waiters were kind and genuine. It did get kind of busy while we were there but they were as attentive as humanly possible. We are definitely going to become regular patrons and cant wait to see our new friends again

Really?
The food is OK but the staff here behaves like its prime time in the meat packing. We were unattended to during the entire meal while they did everything to avoid eye contact! WTF? There are plnety of other cute brunch places without the attitude.
