we went to this restaurant and sat outside it was a beautiful sunny day. The food is really not that great...tasteless and very small portions. I was dissapointed. The drinks were okay. Didnt love it.

Visiting from out of town and thought it was a wonderful place with unique flavors. Service was excellent- we received attention not only from our server - but from the manager as well. Enjoyed the small plates as that gave us an opportunity to try an appetizer, entree, and split some dessert without stuffing ourselves. The flan at the end of the meal was a standout. Festive, friendly neighborhood atmosphere. Tables are close together - so not a place for a quiet romantic meal.

Despite great drinks and excellent service, I have to weigh in on Anejo because it commits what I consider to be the cardinal sin of restaurants: nickel and diming you. My friends and I dropped $65 each on drinks and apps at the bar, including a $19 order of guacamole, which comes with 7-8 chips (I'm not kidding). We asked for more chips twice, and were charged $5 for each additional order of 7 more chips. I have no problem spending money on a great experience, but that experience is diminished when a restuarant is so niggardly and graspy. I'll get my margaritas at El Centro or Rosa Mexicano in the future -- where I can have all the chips I want!

Only open for three weeks and it's already packed on a Saturday night. Reservations are recommended. We sat at the bar and got excellent service - above and beyond! Tamales were delicious, guacomoles were as well, and the yucca fries were the best I've ever had. Margaritas were made to order and excellent. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed.
