I'm not sure what is going on with this restaurant. Theis food abruptly shifts from day-to0day, with little consistency--not just in quality, but in ingredients used for the same dishes--as if they are playting musical chairs with a roster of different chefs. I'm kind of boring in my selection from mediocre chinese restaurants such as Andys, and often get the same dishes. Lately, one day a dish is quite good; the next terrible. One day the egg roll a lunch special comes with is flaky and decent; the next, I could literally wring a quarter cup of grease from the super saturated sponge it has become (probably the resut of the fryer being at much too low a temperature). I cannot recommend eating anything here for the immediate future given the wild swings in their food quality.

I have been going to this restaurant for 4 years. The food used to be great. However, in the last month, prices have risen and the food has gotten worse. The shrimp chow fun is rubbery and bad quality frozen shrimp.

I had heard rave reviews about this place but it's really just ok. For some reason, this part of Bklyn (Carroll, Cobble, Heights, etc.) just cannot get chinese food right. I don't get it - there is such great food around here but you have to go to Manhattan or Queens for decent cold noodles! Still and all, best place for about a mile food wise. Service is so so. I did eat in one day at lunch and the servers all but rushed me out the door which I didn't get because it was far from full.

This place is awesome. Some great dishes you don't find at your average chinese take out, but at average chinese takeout prices. If you're here, try something you haven't before, like the chicken and mustard cabbage. Just awesome. Delivery is pretty great (fast), and they give enormous portions. The perfect take-out place. Atmosphere is nothing special, service is pretty good. But the food and value is amazing.
