I agree wholeheartedly with all the positive reviews about this restaurant (which is the reason I tried it and was not dissappointed in the least). The food was great. The decor is upscale, but not the prices. The service was fabulous and the owner is so friendly. This is definitely going on my list of regular spots to eat.

I'm a patient at Sloan-Kettering and staying at the Ronald McDonald house on 73rd. On the way back from treatment today, I saw Andaz and thought it would be good for dinner. The food and atmosphere were both great. We had papri chaat, saag paneer and chicken tikka masala. I especially loved the saag. It was too much food for the two of us and I do not have access to a fridge. I told them my situation and they agreed to store my leftovers until tomorrow. Their kindness left a smile on my face (and great anticipation of tomorrow's meal!)

my husband and i moved into the neighborhood recently and decided to take a chance with andaz for my birthday dinner. we were both *very* happy with everything - the food, service, and decor were all top-notch! the wait staff was incredibly attentive without being imposing, which is really tough to do. the owner was especially nice - genuinely so. the food was very tasty - we had chicken korma and chicken curry with garlic naan and jeera pulao rice. even though the naan and rice are a la carte, the menu is relatively inexpensive. portion sizes are big too - great value. it must be said that i was a tad weary of the restaurant based on the outside appearance, but i reassure you that the exterior doesn't match the interior one bit. the atmosphere inside the restaurant is fantastic - upscale without the upscale prices or attitude. two enthusiastic thumbs up!

The food is very good but responding to Gastrognome's comment, the entrees do not come with either bread or rice; everything is a la carte. Still the best Indian restaurant in the neighborhood.

Finally a great Indian resturant has opened in the neighborhood! I've ordered and eaten at Andaz several times. The food is fresh and tasty. There's no suprises; large chunks of herbs, or cloves and it's not overpriced. The service is friendly and considerate. Enjoy!

I've been here a few times for their lunch buffet. The food is very good and cheap, and the wait staff friendly.

Ordered an app, bread, rice & chicken and it was at my door within 30 mins....and it was fantastic. This is easily the best neighborhood / take out Indian place in the general area....
