I live a few blocks from here and 1.5 hours later (when they said delivery would be 25 mins) they're still not here. I have called twice and the person who answered the phone was rude, apathetic, and unhelpful. Even if it's excellent, I will never order here again.

I love Vietnamese pho and the first bowl I ever had was at a friend's house whose mom made it. This is by far the best Classic Pho in Williamsburg. They will even substitute sauteed mushrooms in place of the beef or chicken for a vegetarian option (although the stock is still gonna be animal based) And the bubble tea is awesome! I only order Vietnamese from here in this neghborhood!

I was apprehensive at first about trying this place because the prices were a bit steep for Vietnamese food, and I suspected the food might not be authentic. I was very pleasantly surprised to be proven wrong. The food was definitely authentic, the flavors were delicious, and the atmosphere was terrific. There is a cute enclosed garden in the back. It was a great way to get the outdoor dining experience, but since it was enclosed, we also had the benefit of air conditioning on a 90 degree day. It was quaint and romantic. We had the fried calamari, which was well-seasoned and not over-battered or over-fried; the seared duck over banana blossom salad was good enough to make a return trip solely for that; the baby back ribs were flavorful and tender....all the seasonings were spot-on. The only thing I really didn't care for was the seafood bouillabaisse in beer broth, which also happens to be the most expensive thing on the menu. The seafood was overcooked, and the broth bitter and otherwise flavorless. Will not be ordering that ever again. The waitress was sweet, but not too knowledgeable about the menu (not sure if part of it was due to a language barrier?), but I'd rather that than have her be very well-versed about the menu but be obnoxious. I will definitely be returning. The food and ambience were worth the higher prices.

Seriously, How long? Working on an hour and a half. The Pho is good, the price is right but your delivery needs more than work! Last time I will order from here.

An Nhau is not supposed to be a Thai, or a random Asian restaurant. It's a Vietnamese restaurant. Comparing it to a thai restaurant is silly. So maybe all their dishes are not entirely authentic, but they are clean and surely vietnamese in style. Their Pho is solid and tastey, summer rolls are delish and their spinach is healthy and clean. Listen we are in Williamsburg/Greenpoint, call me when we get any sort of authentic cuisine with in a 2 mile radius and I'll come a-runn'n. Let alone Asian cuisine. The truth is An Nhau's food is consistant, clean and tasty, their delivery needs some assistance...but ultimately they get the job done a whole lot better than fake-asian restaurants like Red Bowl, Chinese Musician Restaurant, Hachi or Mizu. By the way there is no difference between Ban Mi and An Nhau I've eaten at both many times.
