I went there for dinner, ordered "what everyone's coming for" and got the 'ahem' "crispy" pork belly Banh Mi. The Bread was old and the pork belly was chewy. The taste was ok but no one like big chunks of pure fat in a sandwich. I know that pork belly has fat in it but if you prepare it right it's crispy and delicious. It's supposed to be better for lunch when the stuff is fresh. For dinner no thank you!

My friends and I ordered delivery from them recently and waited TWO HOURS before giving up completely and ordering from somewhere else. During these two hours, we tried to call but the phones had been shut off. We never got our delivery and no one contacted us. The next day we called to tell them that it was really freaking rude to take our order, tell us it was coming, and leave us waiting, hungry. They told us to come in for a free meal, so we did. The cheerful waitress exclaimed, "oh! you were the guys who called! My boss asked me if I was ever going to call you guys back! HEH HEH" ... and you didn't? Great business practice, guys. We waited over an hour, in the restaurant this time, for our food, and were so furious by the time it got there that we didn't even want it anymore. I hate you, An Choi. Oh, and the salad rolls are disgusting.

Ate there recently for the 2nd time and the food was excellent and atmosphere good if you can handle cozy/cramped tables...but service was about the most lackluster I have experienced anywhere...somewhere between indifferent and hostile, not sure I will go back, but got the feeling that they could care less. Not a good sign.

Been to An Choi a few times and enjoyed it. But have been trying to get them on the phone to order in... for an hour. Angry enough not to go back to this restaurant again.

Food is good, a bit overpriced for exactly what it is. Pho Ga is almost ten bucks when most every other Vietnamese place I've ever been to only charges 5 - 6 bucks. Sometimes I call for delivery and their phone is busy, then I show up and go "hey, there's gotta be something wrong with your phone." And, they casually go, "thanks so much for telling us, we didn't know it was off the hook." No, it's called pay attention to your business. Ordered delivery last night and it took over an hour. Don't think I will chance delivery anymore. So, if you ever plan on calling yourself be prepared as I was not.

I was so excited to try this place because Vietnamese sandwiches are my favorite. I got the roasted chicken and it was bland, with very little in the way of flavor. The chicken tasted boiled (as if they used it for soup) instead of roasted and the vegetables were not pickled. And considering the sandwiches are pricier than most Vietnamese places, I'd say it is not at all worth the price. Also, if you like it spicy, ask them to make it so. The jalapenos had no flavor.

Good, especially the crispy pork sandwich, but at 8 bucks, it's roughly twice as much as the better bahn mi offerings in that same neighborhood. Skip it.
