My daughter and I were going to the theater and someone suggested Amy Ruth's while we were in New York. We were lost trying to find resturant but when we did boy was it worth it. I had honey fried chicken, my duaghter had salmon croquettes everything was fresh and delicious. My favorite part of visiting Amy Ruth's was the Kool-Aid of the day. I thought that was great and the Ice Tea was to die for. I have bragged to everyone in California that Amy Ruth's is a true soul food resturant and strongly suggest anyone in the area or visiting the area to check it out.

A great family restaurant. I mostly enjoy the waitresses because they are friendly.

The first time I heard of Amy Ruth's and tasted their food, I thought it came out of my own kitchen. When I went to the restaurant on 12/3/06, I knew the cook wasn't the same person who made the food when I had it as a take-out. Whoever the cook was two months ago....bring him or her back. Also, go to Amy Ruth's and check out the waiter who looks a little like Jay Z.....my daughter thinks he's cute.

I grew up in Georgia and lived in Texas, so I know something about Southern Food. In addition, I've eaten eveywhere that you can think of - Pink Tea Cup, Maroon's, Londel's, Sylvia's, Shark Bar, Brother Jimmy's, Blue Smoke, etc. If you're looking for the best southen food in New York ... THIS IS IT! It's so good, I almost guarantee that you will make another trip the very next day after your first visit, just like I did.

Possibly the best food I've ever eaten. Perfect fried chicken glazed with honey, candied yams and perfect macaroni and cheese. I can't reccomend it highly enough.

I always ate turkey wings as a child. Then when I came to Amy Ruth's and saw smothered turkey wings on the menu, I was so excited. They are definitely to die for and very rare to find on any menu. The mac and cheese was so chessy and well--seasoned. The waiter was extremely friendly and the restuarant has a nice homey feel. I would recommend to anyone who wants some slamming food. Head to Amy Ruth's!

You haven't eaten soul food until you've eaten at Amy Ruth's. The smothered turkey wings are to die for. The mac & cheese is the best (lots of cheese). They don't skimp on the portions either! Amy Ruth's is a must on your next visit to New York
