    Its Worth It!

I had the misfortune of being stuck in the city over the Thanks giving Holiday(Alone). I looked thru Menu Pages for a nice Home cooking type place to have lunch. I almost skiped Amy's because of a few of the bad reviews. When i got there the door man was a pleasure and the wait staff was more than attinive. I had the catfish and waffles with the mac & cheese for a sideportions were more than enough and flavor and freshness was Great. i will most definatly return and bring guest. Thanks Amy's for a memorable Thanks Giving. Mike C. West Monroe, LA

    Not always the best

The first time we went the food and service was great. The second time we went is was all around horrible! One person has smothered turkey wings the size of chicken wings and two had the seafood platter. The crab cake was just a fired mess and the two srimps on the platter was just fired batter on very small shirmp. So bad we won't be coming back.

    Outstanding

This was one of the best dining experiences in my life. The food surpassed my expectation of a soul food restaurant. The fried chicken, catfish, macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes and the collard greens quickly took me back home to my grandmother's house on Sunday after church. The wait staff was great and catered to our every wish and it was truly worth the price. I wish they had a little more space and I anticipate an expansion in the near future as the place was packed.

    Very Good

The decor in this place is nothing to speak of, and you do have to wait outside. Service was decent and I think the prices are very reasonable. The food was very good. I had the fried chicken wings & waffles, not greasy, very tasty waffles. Ribs and honey chicken were a hit, but the sides were not the best. Fries were soggy. All in all, would recommend and I would go back.

    Yumm Yumm

Quick seating, service, unhurried and OMG damn good food just like down south, while the mac & cheese was mediocre ( macaroni was overcooked) everything else was tasty and a great value a must go in Harlem!
