    I'll be back

Sylvia's for the experience but when you're done being a tourist and you just want good food, it's AmyRuth's. Short Ribs were great. Collard Greens were excellent. BEST Mac & Cheese in town. Had to get another order for later that night. Fried chicken wings aren't anything interesting. Can't wait to try their other choices.

    Yummy

Let me say the food here is good...the short ribs of beef its tender and flavorful..bbq chicken is delightful and the mac and cheese compliments the meal...the service and environment is nice and I love the fact its 24 hours fri and sat...perfect hours for me!

    Not the best

Being from Scandinavia, I've not had privilege of experiencing this sort of cuisine, so when friends suggested we go here after a night of drinking in Midtown, I was looking forward to the experience. In a nutshell... food was mediocre, staff was not very friendly and ambiance left a lot to be desired. Also found the neighborhood to be a real fright. Perhaps it is nicer during the day, it was my first time traveling uptown. I do not think I would go back again.

    Good Heavens

Chicken over cooked-dry and lots of congealed grease.Waited to be served while everyone else in room was taken care of.Room manager rude. Restaurant manager sweet but almost in tears taking my complaint. Bad food, bad service and scary people.

    Best chicken and waffles

Took my sis and nephew for some good ole chicken and waffles and amy ruth's did not disappoint! We loved it all, especially with gravy on the side, yum, added more depth to the flavor.

    Win Win Win!

I enjoyed the honey dipped fried chicken and the macaroni and cheese. The white meat was very juicy and I left with my belly full. Very nice portions. I definitely would go back.
