    delicious always.

ive been going to amor for a couple of years now. best all around meal in the neighbourhood. best mojitos in the city. the ropa vieja i could shovel down by the troughful. ive tried many and nothing compares. their flan is how it should be and cafe con leche is strong & flavorful. so every course is just a flavorful experience. i just got back and am still savoring that meal.

    What a great time!!

The last week I went to Amor Cubano with my family because my mother's birthday. The service was great and the staff was very professional and able to make us great food suggestions like the family tapas. We ordered several of the platters and these were really good, most of my family commented about how good the food was. But the real surprise was at the end of the meal when the waitress brought to my mom a piece of cake with a big sparckling candle. i definitly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to have a great time or host a party.

    High Hopes

I ate at this establishment and can only say it was not worth the trip. I love love love all kinds of Cuban pork preparations and was hoping the (Lechon Asado) pork at Amor Cubano would be super yummy too. It was not very flavorful and it was fatty. It looked like a ton of pork but after trimming the spongy fat there wasn't much left. The rice and beans had a nice flavor but the rice was hard and oily. The restaurant is simple looking but nice enough. Cloth napkins and very clean. I was the only one there eating and the waitress who seemed really sweet was not really great at waitressing. It took at least 7 minutes before she brought me water. I tried to hand her my credit card to pay she ignored it and went to socialize with a friend who stopped by. I waited 8 minutes and brought the check to her. The friend was showing her pictures of a trip she just got back from. Right now my favorite Cuban pork is the pulled pork at Cafe Habana. Note to self "stick to the places you know are great"!

    The best Cuban sandwich ever

This Cuban resturant makes the best Cuban sandwich reminds me of a small old school resturant in Miami and the back bean are soooo good!!!!!!!

    My new favorite

I work in a clinic nearbay and I have to say that I tried my goood share of places for lunch. Recently I went to Amor Cubano they have a Lunch Special for $14.95, that may seem a little pricy at first but they give you soup or salad, entree and soda or coffee, I will be back, I loved it and it was so filling I even had enough left over to take a doggie bag!

    Overpriced

We ordered delivery which took almost an hour when they are literally a block away. We got the Chicken Fricasee which came with one chicken leg and half a thigh for $15, total rip off. Then we got the churrasco for $17 which we asked for medium rare and got charred. Not worth it for cold food an hour late.
