Great Pre-Theater Menu
What a great find. The pre-theater dinner served until 7PM is a great deal. The food, service and ambiance is exactly what you want in a restaurant, tasty, friendly and attractive, along with a good buzz. If you're looking for authentic Greek food in midtown, you won't be disappointed.

amazing!
anniversary dinner here was superb! our waiter (I'll probably butcher his name, but I believe it was Anathassios) was so friendly and helpful. for the food...my wife had the braised chilean sea bass and claims it was the best she's ever had. I had the pan-seared scottish salmon...also delicious. for dessert we had the flourless chocolate cake, which was so rich, dense and yummy that it was the perfect ending. the atmosphere was comfortable, the service extremely attentive and friendly, and we would absolutely return to try more dishes. highly recommend!

Great Greek Seafood!!
Went there with my husband few nights ago and fell in love. The waiter and the maitre d's were very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a few appetizers to start which we shared ( Spinach Pie, Lamb Riblets, Grilled Octopus, and Greek Salad)..one was better then the other...after we had these huge King Shrimps which were grilled to perfection....and lastly we had a Med Snapper cant remember the name. Ohh and the wine...soooo yummy we started with a light crisp wine the i asked the waiter for the name since i really enjoyed it "moschofilero" and with the main course we had a fuller body 1 from Santorini.. I couldnt fit any dessert this time but next time I definetly will leave some room they all sounded so delicious. But I tried greek coffee for the first time , which I really liked. Had a really great experience and can't wait to go back soon...(really craving those desserts =D

great place
My daughter and I had a nice lunch at Ammos which including appetizers, wine and dessert. The staff was attentive and helpful with food and wine selections. The hostess was sweet and even without a reservation she accommodated us regardless of the full restaurant. The floor manager welcomed us as soon as we sat at the table. I would recommend Ammos for lunch or anytime. I am looking forward to returning soon.

greek entertainment?
being attracted to live greek music we tried ammos once again. Even with the new table arrangement is a disaster. The place is dimly lit and ithe table seating allows only two large tables to be able to paraticipate of the dancing. The rest of the clientele is subject too look from the distance and is blocked from the dance floor due to the bad lay out of the tables. A gracious host but the evening was ruined.Once again a big dissapointment in spite of a good band. We could have stayed outisde and look from the window as only a selected table had easy access to the dance floor. Undecided if we will try this place again.
