I ordered three eggs and french fries with a large orange juice and the bill came to 15.18 this is way to high I should have had a two minute massage with this. I will never eat here again unless I win the lottery. Also the waiter kept standing by my table waiting for me to finish eating. Before I finish my food he put my bill down next time just tell the customer your not welcome this place is just not my cup of tea.

Being first-time customers of The New Amity Restaurant, having a staffmember opening the door and welcoming us to the restaurant set the tone for a delightful lunch. The place - including the bathroom -- was clean and well-lit; atmosphere was cheerful and relaxed, with many staff greetings of regulars; the service was quick and friendly; the food was flavorful and in good amounts; and the prices were quite reasonable. This restaurant was a great find. We shall be telling our friends about it and fully intend to return the next time we visit NYC!

I have been going to Amity forever. It's THE place for the local neighborhood folks. The waiters are fast and efficient, I'm greeted by name and they know exactly how I like my omelettes. Plus, you get a side order of LOVE with every order. Amity is a home away from home for a lot of people!

I work in this area for a long time I've always order from here at least once or twice a week. The food delicious but the pricing is ridiculous. There delivery service is probably the best around here. Also there coffee is probably the best on the block.

My two best friends and I decided to go here on our way to the Met one morning. After reading some of the reviews, we were hesitant, but decided to try it. First of all, the breakfast was SO cheap for what you get. We we full until dinner! The wait staff was incredibly attentive and the food came out very quickly. It was easy to see that it's a place loved by locals. If you're in town and want a great breakfast, give it a go. Some seriously amazing pancakes.
