Delicious ribs, rice & tilapia fillets
In the fast pace of rush hour having arrived in Grand Central with an appetite, we decided to try something different rather than the overpriced, small portioned restaurants in GC. So, we came across the Amish Market and it was a delightful experience off the beaten path. Downstairs there is a hot bar and salad bar. The place was clean and there was plenty of seating available. This is a self serve atmosphere buffet. There were delicious ribs, meatloaf, basmati rice, calamari rings with hot sauce, fresh spinach baked in filo bread..mmmmmmmmmm delicious! The salad bar also had mozarella with basil and tomato. This was a great time, casual, and affordable at $6 something apound. We had a delicious meal for less than $20 for two people. In addition, we took home a cooked barbecue chicken which was very tender and flavorful. It is just a few blocks from GC and what a treat!!
