not amazing
I don't usually write reviews for restaurants but this one disappointed me quite a bit so I thought I would try and help both you and them out by writing a review. I got take-out there and they gave me the tiniest little serving of rice that could not possibly soak up the curry I ordered. I paid $16.50 for 1 piece of garlic naan and some curry that was very average. It was extremely sweet and salty at the same time, and had about a quarter inch of oil or grease on the top of the container; yuck. They charged an extra $1 for lamb, which I got literally about 2 to 3 ounces of--I mean it was ridiculous. I went home expecting to have dinner taken care and something left over for the next day but I wasn't even full after eating everything. With all the great Indian restaurants in the city, why eat here?

Absolutely Amazing!!
I only just arrived in NY last week. Last night I ordered from here for the first time. I have to say that it was absolutely amazing. Ordered the chicken tikka - full of flavour, the saag panir and the chicken vindaloo. I highly recommend this place. The phone operator was very pleasant and when I asked how long they said half and hour, it arrived in 15minutes! Very surprised. Very happy with the food and the service, I would definately order again!

Excellent neighborhood Indian
This is not the fanciest Indian in Brooklyn, but they give you great food for your money and always seem happy to see you again. A great value especially if you live within walking distance.

Nice Suprise!
OK, I'm from London and we have the best Indian food outside the sub-continent, as people from Bombay and Madras will tell you. So I wasn't expecting much from this place when we found it online and ordered over the phone. But the food was delicious: fresh ingredients freshly prepared, with subtle but mouth-watering use of spices, and rich, satisfying flavors. I can't wait to eat at the restaurant, given how good the take-out was. And good value, too.

Great Family Friendly Indian Restaurant
We go to Amin regularly. We like the Goan Salmon Fish Curry and the Tandoori Chicken (our daughter likes the way it sizzles) and the Shrimp Poori. The meal is usually quite reasonably priced and we often take some home. The staff are all friendly and the service is great especially if you have children.

Fine Service in House, Fine food n Spice
Whoever rated this restaurant low should think about ordering something that aquires their tastebuds. Thos place is awesome. If you get a chance go in house. They give you more than if you were to order. Mouth watering dishes. I recommend the Chicken Tika Masala, with an appetizer of Simosa. It's a good start for any of those wanting to look into the Indian's World of fine food.
