Great del. service, hot food ok
Love the service - great attitudes about special asks and upbeat. Food...the sushi offerings are tastier then the avg place. Hot food: I like the roti if they leave off the sugar and the pork buns; Curry lacks depth, Singapore noodle and Pad T. either too greasy or no flavor. The rest of the hot food I would eat if hungry and needed speed. It's not fantastic but it's ok. Delivery time is quite reliable.

Good Sushi, Fresh Food
We lived right by Amber, always went there for 2 for 1 happy hour when it was AJA. Went back there last week, was suprised the name has changed and our favorite bartender, Noemi was gone...She made the best French Martini (even better than our fav bar in Chicago!) Anyway, the sushi that we ordered was fresh and yummy. In general its not a significant change from the old place, but I noticed they price lower which is good for this economy.. We might go back for the sushi agian.

Great takeout experience
Very pleased with combo of a la carte sushi and delightful calamari app. But it was the service that stood out: really friendly, smart and accommodating order-taker AND delivery guy. How refreshing!

The Best Mojito in the Village
My husband visited Amber last Tuesday, we sat at the bar having dinner and cocktails, were so impressed! The bartender was very attentive and pleasent, she made the best mojitos that I have ever had so far in the city! Perfectly muddled lime and mints, not too sweet not too tar, strong but good! The food was good as well, we had a sushi entree which was a great portion with reasonalbe price, and fresh! The beef wrap was not my favorite, too many fruit and stuff going on, not enough meat; pan fried dumpling was great. The decor is very stylish, we lvoe the budda;very comfortable seating at the bar. We will go back for sure!
