Great food , incompetent management
The Ambassador Grill is underrated as far as food is concerned . The chef does a great job handling the whims and tastes of the legion of UN dignitaries and staff who eat there each day . The entrees are excellent, the portions are large, and the attention to detail and taste is quite high. The waiters are courteous and for the most part good at their task. The great failing here though, is the lack of commitment by management in taking care of reservations and paperwork . If you need to fix something, they are lackadaisical or incompetent . If this were to be remedied, the restaurant would be bustling
