Did I miss something?
I was anticipating a fabulous meal, but it was quite the opposite! After sitting for 10 minutes, we had to ask for a waiter and after waiting another 10 minutes, we STILL had to ask for water and our drinks! Our branzino was poorly fileted -there were at least 8 bones in the first 3 bites. When we sent it back, we had to wait 20 min to get a new one (everyone else had finished eating) . Halfway through the meal our waiter disappeared completely (we never received our 2nd glass of wine) and the baklava for dessert was stale. Mediocre food (at best) and poor service. I will not be returning.

service delayed - small portions
we waited 1,5h before eating the menu was limited and some dishes were missing because they were over the ingredients incredible because we spent a lot of money

Great, fresh mediterranean food!
Never would have gone in without reviews from menupages. Not very impressive from the street, but the food is terrific. The salad with feta, Octopus and spaghetti were all terrific. We shared our meals, and it was the way to go. I don't even like meal sharing, and it worked well here. Go!

Great restaurant
Loved this restaurant. Went there last night & had a super experience. Food wonderful. Service excellent. Ambiance great. What a find. We will be back.

The best date spot
I usually hate going down to the 60s, but Amali is like my Mecca. Consistently good service; the servers are on point and VERY knowledgable. The food is so fresh and so delicious. The serving sizes are a bit challenging. Weren't sure if we were getting an appetizer or a side. The octopus is done just right with the perfect vinegrette. SO good. And the cocktails are very fun and great to try. I love coming back here time and time again.

Wonderful find
We had a great dinner here a couple of weekends ago. Came late on a Saturday (9:45) and sat at the bar for a full meal. The salad was fantastic, unusual and extremely fresh tasting. Same goes for the artichoke on toast...HIGHLY recommend that. Entree fish was simple but very nice and properly cooked. Warning - the apps are bigger than you expect...I'm a big eater but was pretty stuffed after my meal. We'll certainly be back.
