Awesome larb salad and drunken noodles. Middling appetizers - and we've ordered 4 soups and 3 different rolls. Having said that, I just had the most insane interaction with their delivery guy, and as a life long New Yorker that's saying something. Cancelled order after waiting over an hour. Nice and easy on both sides. Delivery guy came 20 min later and when I explained that the order was cancelled demanded payment. When I called restaurant and asked then to explain to him, they rightly concluded that he didn't speak English.

This little restaurant opened in a residential neighborhood near the Parade Grounds by Prospect Park. It is a family run restaurant and the waiters are extremely friendly and competent. It is a small establishment seating only about 20 or so diners. Good sized portions, nicely presented, and reasonably priced. Be careful if you ask for Thai spicy food, as it will send you through the roof. Moderate spice is still quite hot (I spent months in Thailand many years ago) This is a great addition to Brooklyn Asian cuisine

This place is awesome. I haven't been - I've just ordered delivery. But they were quick to my door, the gyoza is great, and the veggie Thai basil dish rocks!! Highly recommended in a hood that is low on options.

I don't know what place the last reviewer ate at, but the food here is the best Thai I have ever had. Not pretty, but I have never been disappointed here. In fact we have used this place to cater parties twice. Worth the trip.

I ordered from Am Thai today - a vegetable soup, sticky rice and tofu and veggie basil chili stir fry. I got it in the afternoon and waited a couple of hours to eat it. When I went to eat it, I found the soup very bland, almost no flavor, almost no vegetables and just a few threads of vermicelli vs. the description. Then, even worse, my vegetable dish basically had no tofu. There was one piece and another tiny little shred so small it was clearly a mistake. When I called to complain, the lady tried to convince me that they should just give me a nice appetizer next time I ordered instead of fixing my order. Then she said she'd fix it. Fifteen minutes later, she calls back to tell me that chef says that's how they fix it. After arguing with her that this isn't what was in the menu and not what I ordered, she said she had to consult with the chef and that she wasn't going to call me back if I was upset. Uhm. This was my dinner so of course I'm upset that I got shorted for what I paid for. No resolution as I write another 20 minutes later. Very poor service. Very mediocre food.
