The Steak was fine, but the pommes frites were a brand I have had at other restaurants. Average Pomme Frites! They obviously do not cut their own fries and I find that to be unacceptable. If you are paying $25 for an entree then you should get better quality.

Where to begin? Well, we were a larger group (8 adults, 2 boys) and we were seated quickly, as we had a reservation. Service was slow, food was good but way overpriced for what was served, and we waited close to an hour and a half for our food. When a manager was requested, she did the worst things a manager could do - she made excuses and didn't express regret or attempt, in any way, to make us feel better. As an area resident suggested the restaurant, she was disappointed with the treatment, to say the least, as were we all. We were trying to celebrate a birthday, and choosing this restaurant severely dampened the party. In a city like New York, there are many, many better choices, so avoid this poor excuse for a French Bistro.

Went there Friday night fora birthday party and were greatly disappointed. We had a reservation for a party of ten, so there were no surprises... and yet the service was horrible. We were not told about a children s' menu until the server came up to take our order. The server did not know if we could taste a bottle of wine before we ordered it. But, the clincher was waiting an hour for our entrees & then when we complained we were yelled at by the manager. Basically told that we should have ordered appetizers and that it takes them extra time to cook the chicken. (Leaving me wondering why they did not tell us that when we ordered? A simple: "The chicken takes longer to cook... would you like to order an appetizer in the mean time, or are you ok with the wait?" would have solved everything.) And, by an hour wait I mean - at 40 minutes we asked where our food was and was told it would be there in "5 minutes". When the food arrived? The chicken was completely cooked, but the rest of our entrees? Luke warm. But, most importantly - I have never ever been to a restaurant where I have been yelled at for complaining about bad service. A "yes, sir, yes ma'am, we're sorry - here, take a free drink" can work wonders and certainly would have prevented this bad review. Because things do happen... but this is more than that - it reflects the culture of the restaurant. The only thing keeping me from giving this restaurant no stars is: the music, and the food (even luke warm) was good.

Reservation at 7pm. Everyone on time. No menus until 7:20. Order promptly; no food until 8:40. 30 minutes between ordering dessert and dinner. Sat night, house is half full. Upon mentioning our wait time to the staff, they should offer something, instead that attack the table and are insanely rude. A normal restaurant would offer free dessert for a long wait. DO NOT GO. It is one thing to wait for fantastic food... it is another thing to wait for mediocre food. Overpriced, not worth it. PS-house manager screams-in front of other patrons-that we are not welcome back. After a 90 minutes wait, and nothing but politeness from us... they needn't worry. Never again.

Their attitude is that it is a privilege to eat in their restaurant even though the service is poor and the food is marginal. The prices are not that reaonable when levered against quality.

Went for a 5pm dinner hoping to avoid the crowds. Didn't get served until 6pm. Food was at room temperature, long waits between courses. Filet Mignon ordered 'well done' was rare!! Never again. We left the steak having lost all hope for this place to reclaim our happiness. Clearly not there.

The food was excellent here. We got seated right away (had a reservation) and the waiter was so nice and very attentive. I had the duck it was amazing and my husband had the chicken - the truffle oil sauce was also amazing. We both thought the portions were totally fine. If you want larger portions then I think a diner is what you're looking for. We didn't leave with that over the top full feeling, so we didn't agree with the other reviews saying the portions were tiny. Would def go back!
