Doesn't get much better than this!

I had read some amazing reviews of Aloe on a few o ther sites, and I have to say, I was really impressed. The good is really interesting..and an excellent value. The dining room is quite small, and when it filled up, it was a bit noisy. The server anwered all our questions, and really paced the meal well. The calamari appetizer was outstanding, and the homemade spagetti, branzino and duck over waffles were outstanding. . The desserts that the 5 of us shared..the strawberry shortcakee and the cheesecake, topped out our wonderful meal. And the coffee..so many great restaurants serve sub-par coffee. My wife and I ordered decaf, and they made it in a french press and it was wonderful. We had a fabulous bottle of red wine, and a bottle of champagne since it was my daughter's birthday, and the total bill with a generous tip for 5 of us was $320. Iwill definitely be r Returning to Aloe!

    love them

there were about 8 of us in my group - we were sat at what felt like one giant table in what felt like our own private room. When our reservations were made we told them we had vegitarians in the group and they added some specials specifically to meet our needs. We all tried eachothers food and everything was great - there wasn't a thing we had that I wouldn't want again. The service was really lovely. Only draw back we spent so much time lingering over the food and the wine that I didn't want to go dancing when all was done.

Definitely Give this Place a Try

My friends and I went to Aloe after deciding not to wait at some more crowded and trendier restaurants. We could not have made a better decision! The food was different and delicious. The duck was perfectly cooked (which according to my chef friend is a most difficult task), the pork loin was in a sweet and sour sauce with a perfect kick at the end and the cheese course included a great selection. If there was a draw back it may have been the mediocre wine list. However, there were some decent and reasonably priced choices.
