My lambchops were too well done and too dry when I asked for medium. There was a very spicy sausage included and a VERY hot sauce which burned my tongue, mouth and throat. Server should mention this to whoever orders the lambchops. I had to get ice to cool my mouth and could not finish the meal. Would not return.

went out with 4 business friends. The food was very good and inventive ( and tasty). The wines are also very good and compliments to management for keeping the prices reasonable. Service, however, at our table was awful: 35 minute wait from ordering appetizers until served, then served the entrees at the same time. The second bottle of wine never appeared. Manager was very accommodating. Too bad an unengaged waitress detracted from an otherwise excellent meal.

We were a group of 4 - everyone loved their meal. The mac and cheese, the pasta, chicken, fish - all very well prepared and served. Good mixed drinks (slightly pricey). A great neighborhood restaurant.

I've been a couple times over the past few years and Almond never disappoints. Great ingredients prepared with minimal fuss and just enough whimsy. The vibe is lively and great for groups. The service is always gracious and good humored. Highly recommended.

With all the amazing NYC restaurants out there I am so sorry to have wasted my time and my friends. The food was way overpriced and just not good. We ordered the salmon, the chicken, the hanger steak and the homemade pasta all were well below average. The desert was really disappointing as well. It is a nice place if u want to sit outside and have a drink, only a drink!

Me and a friend stumbled into Almond last week after a rough hangover. We sat at the bar for lunch and the blonde bartender was so sweet and understanding of our plight. She suggested bloody marys and added extra Tabasco for us. She then led us through the whole menu telling us what was good for hangovers. We both ordered Mac and cheese. O. M. G. It was perfect. She was always around but never pushy or in our faces. Def coming back to this place.

Food was good. Service not so great- we asked to taste some wine. The waitress brought us one glass to share. I asked if we could each have our own glass to taste because I was sick, and she just glared at me and didn't budge. The restaurant was less than 1/4 full too. For their prices I expect better service. I will not return.
