    Delicious Food Great View

Awesome food which was accented by the beautiful view of lower Manhattan.

    Expensive Subpar Food

Place has a nice atmosphere but the menu is kind of limited. Ordered a few drinks, appetizers and chicken fajitas. We specifically told the waiter that we didn't want ouf food to be spicy...I guess he forgot because we could hardly eat it. The chicken was really dry and with no flavor. The prices are not up to the quality of the food. Everything is expensive! Would not have minded if the food would have been good, but it was not. My recomendation is that there are a lot of great places with better prices, better quality and definitively better taste.

    Stick to the Basics

I go to Alma usually with friends from out of town, or for birthdays. Stick to the standards and you won't be dissapointed. The Enchiladas are great, the ceviche is pretty good as well. As for the Duck or any other dish that might be reaching as far as Mexican goes... I'd avoid it. The service there is consistently great, and the atmosphere is always festive.

    Amazing view, semi-flavorless food

The environment at this place is great--beautiful views, a great interior. It almost makes it worth it to go to dinner here, but the food is definitely not great. It's certainly not at all authentic and it's pretty expensive. I hear the brunch is quite good, though.

    Not a big fan

I've eaten dinner here on two occasions and the food is mediocre at best. It sounds like brunch is the way to go as I've heard better things about that. Last time we tried the fajitas (really hard to make bland fajitas but they succeeded) and the bass which were both pretty bland. Great spot for a view of the city. That's about it.

    Spicy!

The food is very spicy here -- very. The host is great, and so is the atmosphere.

    Great view

I've been here several times, which is a good indication that I like it. It's not the best Mexican food I've ever had, but it's good. The view is fabulous. The bar downstairs has a great beer selection and is an excellent place to wait for your table. The only thing is that I wish the menu was a little more extensive.
