Alice's Tea Cup

Well, I was probably one of the first ones to eat at the new East side Alice's Tea Cup (they haven't really opened, but they are open, if you know what I mean) and let me tell you, it is amazing! The same old great stuff is available but a lot more, too! Also, I was told that their liquor license should be in place in a couple of weeks with a unique drink menu to boot (judging from their food, I'm sure it will be sensational). Also, they did a great job bringing over the fun of Alice's West but sprucing it up a bit (check out upstairs, especially if you are throwing a party). Don't remember the exact address but it is 64th off Lex. Thanks, Alice's, for opening in my neighborhood, finally!

This place is wonderful. Great atmosphere, Great Teas, Great Scones and wonderful sandwiches. The service is authentic and great. It's a real neighborhood place and you'll walk right past it if you don't know it's there.

Yes it's true! Now us East Siders who love Alice's Tea Cup but can't always make the trek to West 73rd will have our own neighborhood tea shop! If you like vanilla tea try Mauritius or Alice's Tea, they're amazing. Lavender Earl Grey is great too. The Pumpkin scones are the best!

Alice's is a little on the small side but so cute and really good food. Their list of tea is sooo impressive and their breakfast is excellent. My favorite are the pumpkin scones but everything I've tried has been very good.

Delicious scones at a great deal - two huge scones and a large pot of tea (I had four cups and the pot wasn't empty!) for $9. The staff wears adorable fairy wings and the decor is themed but not over-the-top or cheesy. The lunch menu is perfect - salads and sadwiches and tasty cookies. I go at least once each month with my girlfriends and I highly recommend it!

Tea selection is great. Atmosphere and hours are fantastic but the red velvet cupcakes were a major disappointment. The desserts look good but I am apprehensive about the taste after the red velvet.

Alice's Tea Cup is wonderful, try the nutella and raspberry crepe, comes topped with chocolate and vanilla sauce and whipped cream! The house tea is AMAZING, it's a combination of vanilla black tea and green tea with rose petals. The Alice in Wonderland theme is fun and charming. However, if you don't have kids, I wouldn't recommend visiting this place on a Saturday or a Sunday because half the clientele are noisy and under the age of 5. Otherwise, I love Alice's Tea Cup!
