    Mussells are the best

Went with a friend Saturday, March 9th. Easy street parking. Place was busy. Friendly staff took care of us right away. Crab cake, spare rib, and mussel appetizers were exceptional. The mussels were great. Main courses was Hanger Steak and Mac n' Cheese. Ended with cheesecake. I guess we got hungry at the right place because everything was very satisfactory. You need to check this place out.

    Healthy Flavorful Creative Menu

There was a small crowd so we were seated immediately. Waitress was friendly and enthusiastic about the menu and specials. We were looking for healthy fresh food with innovative recipes. I had the shredded fennel salad on a base of golden beets, goat cheese crumble, pistachios and an amazing dressing. I started feeling healthy so I went for the special - boneless short ribs stuffed with caramelized onions and spinach with small roasted potatoes. It also came with spaghetti squash my wife ate it, I wasn’t crazy about it. The appetizer and dinner was great. My wife got a fish dish with a really tasty corn and polenta. She loved it. The cheese cake desert was amazing it was light and creamy and definitely was made with ricotta cheese. I will be back to this place mainly for the creative dishes, flavors and ingredients. The craft beer I had (think it was called Six Points) was locally brewed and a good IPA but not to hoppy.

    Running late for Brunch

Hey Just wanted to review Alice's Arbor. Went this past Sunday. I was getting off to a late start today and had a taste for Brunch anyway. I remembered Alice's Arbor a cool new looking place that I always pass by and kept promising myself I would go in one day and give them a try. Well I finally made it in. And yes it was a cool looking and comforting inside as it appeared from outside. I ordered the French Toast and my Sweets ordered the Steak and Eggs...yeah yeah she was trying to combat a slight hangover ;) as she would call it. But all said and done the food was pretty good and very reasonably priced in comparison to the portion size they give you. I must say. They actually give you food here. WOW! How nice!! Just keep in mind though try not to arrive late like I did for Brunch because they will kindly remove you between 4;30-5pm to get ready for their dinner crowd. Oh hurry in before they come to their senses with $9 Hanger Steak/2 Eggs/ Seasoned Fries.

    Wow - great new place

We went for drinks and dinner, then drinks and snack, then brunch. We loved all the food we had. I also loved the margarita. Everything was very good to exceptional. Price point is low compared to taste and portions. I'm going again.

Just okay, average quality.....Maybe better later.....

I have been here a quite a few times since they opened a month ago, giving it a really good chance. It's refreshing to see something new with a nice concept amid an arid block in Clinton Hill. It also seems they opened early and without being prepared for clients and although often empty, will have no ice and a wait for coffee can take 10 minutes. No decaf teas, SLOW service, average food. (order had old ingredients, and certain ingredients, of low quality, especially the cheeses. When surrounded by some other local places it's important to care about service, guests, quality and speed. Hopefully in the future things will get more organized, more professional and without a attitude, with a bit of humbleness. After all, you are the new place on the block.

    Diamond in the rough

Had the soft shell crab and Brussels sprouts. Fantastic! Warm atmosphere. Great service. Can't wait to return. Oh! Cocktails are so inventive. Enjoy!
