Great Spot
Recently had brunch here. Service was friendly and attentive, food was great and atmosphere was nice. Will definitely be heading back. Lunch and dinner looked very appetizing! Definitely worth trying.

only solid place in the hood
I've lived in the lower east side long enough to sea it go from ghetto to ghetto chick. Slowly becoming the new MP district...ow well not complaining just stating a fact. Most of the new places down here don't cater to the people who actually live here; they cater to weekend B&T . But Alias has always been solid since day 1. Good food, good value, good service. Thanx

Amazing
What a find. I am going to tell everyone about this place. The food was great and very well priced. Service and kitchen was fast. Very chill place with fun music. Really good vibe. Also went on a Sunday nice, 3 courses for $30. What a deal. Can't wait to go back.

A gem
Ican't complain about much having to do with this cute cafe/finer-diner/neighbourhood resto. I've been three times and every time have had a good experience. The food is almost perfect and the atmosphere and staff cozy, inviting and efficient. We had: the beet and arrugula salad - mmm the grilled artichoke salad - mmm the pork chop - super mmm and the beans with it were great the ribs - good slaw, great sauce, but the ribs were incredibly fatty, a bit grossly fatty the choc. mousse - yummm and the key lime pie - again, yumm. They have a really well balanced wine list and there is a little bottle of white, the name of which I can't remember, that is by a "Husband and Wife" team and is very affordable. It's crisp and light and goes well with most things. The place has a great atmosphere and it must be run by nice people as I went there for the first time 2 years ago and the same waiter was still working there - good staff that stick around = good place. Highly recommended cute little unassuming neighbourhood place.

Great food, great value
Had reservations for 9:45, were kept waiting for almost 15 minutes. Was pretty pissed until we got seated. Apps were the duck and the mussels and for main got the venison which was a special (didnt see it on the menu) and it was excellent and a ridiculous bargain. The presentation for the venison had me confused if I was really eating in the LES. The room is not all that and the service could have been better but at the end, its the food stupid. I will go again.

Wonderful. Wish was in my neighborhood.
After reading some reviews, we stopped by for dinner after a party in the area. I completely agree with everyone else. This place is fantastic. Very tasty comfort food. I would go here all the time if it wasn't soo far from my apartment. Service was friendly and slow but we weren't in a rush.
