Best shawarma laffa!
I crave the shawarma laffa from here and it's never greasy (way too much oil/fat) like other shawarma places I've been to. Some of my friends keep kosher and they were so excited about the prices here apparently getting a good kosher meat meal for less than 15 bux is hard in the city. I love the options for salads the eggplant is my favorite. The place is cute for an quick informal and super tasty meal.

Whoa
The service is poor here. They are slow and mumble and ignore you. The falafel is not good and over priced. How this place stays open is a mystery to me.

Mediocre food, high prices, poor service
Schwarma is dry, overcooked and served in grainy lafas. Falafel is pretty good, but is way too expensive. Any complaints about the food (such as unwanted additions of nuclear spicy stuff) are met with blatant hostility and offers to sell you small bottles of water for $2.

Truly dreadful service
I ordered takeout for a party. Paid for the order and arranged a time to pick it up. Came at the appointed hour and Ali Baba was closed and wouldn't open again for several days. Fortunately I had a back up plan with another vendor. I will never order from this place again. Incompetence doesn't begin to describe...

great, but expensive falafel
loved the falafel sandwich, but it was a little pricey for $7.50. The salad bar is a plus though and a small container is included in the price of the sandwich. Very small place with just 2 tables.

Do not use as Late Night Order in/Take out oe
I have been at the restaurant before. The food was better in person when you could return it if it was not good. I would recommend it for good shawarma. Overpriced for fAlafael. The owner is a very nice and charming man. The space is tight but can be charming Take out or ordering in is a nightmare. Forget about it for take-out. My food came cold. no plastic ware, no ketchup. the fries were mixed into the salad SO they were water logged. The schwarmara was like gristle all the a fantastic deal of 20# the pita was small also not hot. asking for a second one was 1.50 even after they botched the delivery. Clearly, the staff just does not care or is not competent. I am totally trashing this place as blind order in/take out. If you go in person, you will have a better experience.
