    Happy hour!

4 dollar house wine, generously poured! Will return with some gals for happy hour again.

    My favorite place!

I frequent this place ALOT (never get tired of it), and my top favorite foods: 1. Barley Risotto (warning: you will be full after eating half of it) 2. White wine garlic mussels (Mussel Mondays are a good deal) - best mussels ever 3. Doc's Pear Cider 4. Gin Smith (it's addictive!) 5. Apple Crisp a la mode (try it with the coconut sorbet) 6 Chocolate Croissant Bread Pudding Trust me, try any of these items you are in for a real treat.

    Blocks for The Barclay

Really enjoyed meeting up with friends for food and drinks at this pub. Service was excellent. Exceeded my expectations on every level. Will definitely go back.

    Almost perfect

Treated this place a few times by a friend. the food was decent and the service fair yet slanted towards a " specific clientele " guys are less obvious than the female staff. observed on all three ocassions that not all guests were extended the " thanks for coming a" as they exited. have to say this was consistent behavior. the owner is cool and probably oblivious to this quirky staff trait. certainly worth checking out. just don't assume it is anything more than a slope spot with very few authentic peeps. Could and should be though. I think.

    Fantastic Burger

The burger is probably the best value in the neighborhood - Melt's burger across the street is pretty mediocre taste-wise for the money. Slightly expensive on the rest of the menu, but worth it. Everything I or my party have eaten there has been delicious, and the place is quite nice inside, lot of old wood, feels like a real tavern type spot. Definitely recommended.

    What's the problem?

Just ate there tonight. Food was hot, fresh and tasty. Service was quick and attentive. Would recommend. The other reviews are not so recent - give it a chance.
