best indian food on the upper west side
Long time lovers of this wonderful, warm restaurant...we order in on a regular basis ...the food is fresh and each dish bursting with a different flavor - the owner is like family, so accommodating and makes us whatever we desire, taking real care and pride in the cuisine. We are always so happy after our meal -- Highly recommend them and ask for Baboo.

Simply the best
i am a indian food lover. i have been to many indian restaurant but i found alaichi masala the best among all. the way they serve and the food was yummy..i would also love to recommend u guys to go and try once....

Simply the best
I am so satisfied with the food, service and lovely environment of this restaurant. At first when I read the review of this restaurant all about the food and service. People had left various comments. I was confused whether to order the food from this restaurant or not. Then I decided to try out the food from here for the first time. I was completely overwhelmed and satisfied by the service of this place . I love the way they serve and the manager was very helpful at the same time. U guys should also go there and try out the various dishes. So i suggest u all to be there :-)

No more
Ordered delivery from here a few times happily. My last order of a tandoori dish was very obviously leftover food (perhaps from a lunch buffet?) reheated in a microwave. I can't believe they did this and I won't be ordering again.

Disappointing!
After reading all the lovely reviews, I had my hopes all raised. Must say, UWS has seen better. Food was tasteless and service was poor. Probably a case of being the weekend and being understaffed. Would think twice before eating here again!

long overdue review
had a birthday party a year ago and they were extremely accommodating, great food, byob which is great, definitely recommend for good indian food and a nice dinner
