The poorest customer service that I have ever experienced. The individual taking the order and manager were so rude that I hated to place the order, but the pizza is actually ok. My family wanted salad dressing to dip our pizza into and it took 5 minutes for the manager to allow this to happen. Restaurants are in the customer service industry so if a customer wants salad dressing to dip their pizza into, it should be allowed without fighting with the customer.

this place has very good brick oven pizza. given the amount of great italian pizzarias on the UES - i wouldnt say its the best, but the prices are amazing and a great dinner out here is half the price of other brick oven pizzarias in the area.

It's local, it's great for big groups, cool brick oven, great outdoor seating, cheap, and fast delivery. Ive had better, but not on the UES!

On a hunch, I thought this place might be good when I walked by it...I am a sucker for good brick oven pizza. So i grabbed their menu, and the next night, my mom and I ordered in...Excellent find! We ordered before peak hours, and our meal arrived in *under* 20 minutes...We were both impressed. We had a large pepperoni pizza, and she had a Chicken Paccata entree, which came with mixed vegetables and a choice of pasta pomodori course. My mother's chicken was absolutely delicious, the vegetables were fresh and scrumptious, the sauce was great. the Spaghetti and pomodori sauce was fantastic, just the right kind of spicy. The pizza was out of this world. Gourmet brick oven style, but the crust was nice and thick, like I like, and chewy and delicious. the fresh mozzarrella was excellent, the sauce was nice and spicy, and he thick cut pepperoni was superb. The rolls they sent along were also delicious and were excellent for mopping up the pomodori sauce. The total cost, with tip to the delivery man was just under $40, which is tremendous value. We are thrilled that we have now found our new Italian place in the neighborhood to order from, since it has been barren ever since Sirabella's closed about 4 years ago. Thanks Al Forno!

I've never been inside Al Forno. I just had a pizza delivered from them for the first time. I had no problems with the woman on the phone, who was perfectly pleasant. My pizza arrived extremely quickly, in 20 minutes flat (although I should point out that I ordered it before peak dinner hours). The sauce was tasteless. The crust was soggy, mushy and tasteless. The toppings were tasteless, with the exception of the pepperoni. There were nice thick slices of pepperoni, which had kind of a nice sweet taste, although they were still on the bland side. My search for good pizza delivery on the UES will have to continue.

This simple Italian restaurant makes the best pizza in the UES! My friends and I go here all the time for their food and $4 sam-adams beers. Great atmosphere as well. Food never disappoints.
